It was the best house I have rented in my 8 years of vacationing at OBX. The owner took great care (personal call) to make sure that all was well and that the house met every expectation. Early 1PM Check-in is standard. Our Sunday to Sunday rental week means you are in much less traffic. 7 Golf courses within 20 miles. Enough parking to trailer-in a boat or jet-skis.
Just 5 minutes from the quaint, waterfront Town of Duck with lots of seaside shops, activities and restaurants. Centrally located to all Outer Banks attractions.
Southern Shores beaches maintain a relaxed, uncrowded family atmosphere. Beach parking by permit only, so beaches are enjoyed by property owners and their guests. No high density hotels or condos.

We had a great time as usual. The upgrades on the house were really nice, especially the double sinks in the downstairs bathroom. My father and my son were sharing that bathroom and the two sinks made it a lot easier for them! And we all enjoyed the hot tub as always!
We were very impressed with Elan - the welcome basket was so deluxe! They were very pleasant to deal with and even though there was the mix-up with the parking pass the first day, they got it to us early the next morning.
I honestly can't think of any improvements to the house. It's always so welcoming and the amenities are great. Having sheets and towels provided was a big help so we didn't have to lug all that stuff from Ohio and back again!

This August was our third time at this house. We think it is the best value on the outer banks. Very roomy. Had a new hot tub and upgraded baths since last year. Our 3 grandchildren liked the playstation and the boogie boards. Bob & Rose Gregory

We rented this house last December right before Christmas. We just needed a house to stay in so that we would be close to family for the holidays. But we got so much more than just a house! It is an extrodinarily well-equiped, well-kept house and has plenty of space for the whole family. It is decorated nicer than all the beach houses we have stayed in! Just gorgeous! I was shocked that this wonderful house was so affordable! We enjoyed every minute we stayed there! Thanks!!!

We stayed in this well equipped house last year. It was quite near the ocean and was very comfortable. Grandchildren liked the separate area downstairs. We plan to use it again this year.
