The condominium building where Casabest is located, consists of 14 apartments, built up the hillside, so that each apartment is private and has its own unimpeded view of the bay and out to open ocean. There is a small pool and roof terrace in shared common areas for use by guests. The rooftop terrace has views for miles over the bay but guests are usually so anxious to get down to the beach that they forget to visit the terrace! ...are located on the hillside overlooking the bay of one of Mexico's most beautiful secluded beaches, La Ropa Beach, which has perfect weather for swimming all year round, delicious restaurants and glorious sunsets to watch!
Restaurants on the beach serve very good food including fresh fish, shrimps and clams as well as many other deliciously prepared sea foods.
The walk down to the beach is an easy five minutes but it is somewhat harder to get back as it is a steep uphill walk!

The one-bedroom apartment has a bedroom with a double bed, a kitchen, a dining/living room and a bathroom with shower unit (no bathtub).
The two-bedroom apartment has two bedrooms each with a double bed, a living room with two sofa beds, an equipped kitchen, a bar and two bathrooms with shower unit (no bathtub). Both apartments are fully air-conditioned.
There are no televisions but we do provide a small radio, cassette and CD player so that you can enjoy your favourite music!
Just a further note about the kitchen - it is fitted with four efficient and very fast electric plates for cooking but these are not really suitable for producing gourmet meals for a large group.
There is no regular oven but there is a an efficient microwave so that you will have all you need for any lighter meals you might like to prepare.
We provide towels and bed linen but you would have to bring your own beach towels. Miguel is on duty during the day to look after the common areas and make sure you get the keys to unit upon arrival. At night there is always someone on duty.

People are friendly and helpful, there are plenty of good restaurants, a wonderful food market and a glorious market for Mexican handicrafts. Two large supermarkets with everything and anything you might need are a mere five minute taxi ride from the condominium.
If you are interested in fishing, there is a huge variety of boats to chose from at the Marina to spend the day out at sea. Ixtapa is an extremely successful tourist development with the best hotels, clubs and restaurants, and is a ten minute taxi ride away.
We, of course, think it's paradise and the perfect place to spend a holiday!!

Casabest is perfectly placed to get great views over the La Ropa beach - we loved it. The apartment had all we needed for a very comfortable stay and all the neighbours were very friendly and helpful. As we are currently planning a trip to Europe an extra bonus was seeing Terracotta Trails walking holidays on the Casabest website and we have even booked a week's walking in Umbria thanks to a visit to Casabest!
