Sunny Kapoho, as it is known by the locals, still holds the flavor of Old Hawaii. Kapoho gets sunshine even when it is raining ten miles away in Pahoa. It is on the eastern most part of the Big Island and is relatively undeveloped for major tourist ventures and thus has the serenity and unmarred beauty of an island paradise. There are no highrises here and the nights are black so star gazing is really amazing.
Still, there is much to see and do that it is possible to fill every day with adventures. You can visit the Volcanoes National Park, about 30 miles drive and perhaps view the lava flowing at night. Or you can just kick back and enjoy the laid-back lifestyle that is a part of Hawaii's allure.
The upstairs unit has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths with its own interior laundryroom with washer and dryer. The livingroom is comfortable with enough sofas and chairs for everyone. And, there is a new 41 High definiton television for your enjoyment with satellite T.V. Internet hookup is also provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with a new icemaker refrigerator and a new range. If you like to barbeque there is a large gas barbeque on the expansive covered lanai.
The downstairs is similar with its own interior laundry with washer and dryer. There is a nice sized patio in the front and a grassy lawn in the back.
Please ask about the availability of both units for a large group. This is a perfect place for a large group, family reunion, etc. The total is 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
