Our weather is marked by two distinct seasons. The rainy season, part of which is hurricane season, and the dry season, part of which is wind surfing season. During the rainy season short thunderstorms can be expected.

Cape Coral and Fort Myers are located in beautiful southwest Florida adjacent to the Gulf of Mexico. The cities are separated by the Caloosahatchee River, which flows directly into the Gulf, and are joined by a number of bridges.
Cape Coral is the second largest city in Florida by landmass (115 sq. miles). It contains over 400 miles of canals and is sometimes referred to as the “Venice of America”. Basically a bedroom/retirement community, it is growing rapidly as its population has recently surpassed 113,000. The city is actively pursuing small and mid sized business’s to relocate to the Cape due to its record growth.

We are only 60 miles from the Everglades and 280 miles from Key West.
The clean sandy beaches of Sanibel, Captiva, Pine Island, Cape Coral and Fort Myers are all a short drive away.

No matter what your preference, you can drive or fly. Flights can be direct into Fort Myers or to nearby Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Miami or Orlando.
Driving times are as follows:
• From Tampa (TPA) - 80 miles about 1.5 hours
• From Fort Lauderdale (FLL) - 125 miles about 2.5 hours
• From Miami (MIA) - 140 miles about 3 hours
• From Orlando (MCO) - 150 miles about 3.5 hours
• From Fort Myers (RSW) - “Southwest International” airport is less than 30 minutes.

Driving is easy since Cape Coral is located a short distance from I-75.

Various religious denominations have churches also located on the Cape and in Fort Myers.
