My husband and I have stayed here four (4) times over the past years. We are going back for a month in October/November. Her apartment is perfect. If you want to cook you can, if you don't there are tons of places to eat near by. The view is to die for. I can't wait till October because one you see the view from her balacony you'll never want to leave. Carol

It’s home away from home, we enjoyed our four weeks stay in 2006(wished we could have extended for another week at least), for 2007 we will spend eight weeks at Casa Karena it is well maintained, people are responsive, Karen cares, it is clean and inviting with its Mexican style warmth. The hotel style amenities were appreciated. The location is great, far enough from the city noises, but close enough to enjoy its resources. Loved it. Try it you’ll be coming back. We had the opportunity to watch the whales, for a full hour, feeding in the bay a few hundred feet form our 16th floor balcony. What a scene!!!

The view, the Holiday Inn, the pool, the beach, the condo, the location,and the amenities were all excellent! Karen was extremely helpful with all my questions and concerns. It was an experience I hope to repeat soon. Puerto Vallarta is a great place to visit and Casakarena is a great place to stay!

My wife and I stayed in Casakarena for 6 nights after my return from Iraq. We found the condo to be very clean and comfortable with an excellent view of the bay. It was very easy to use the Holiday Inn amenities. It is a good location with easy access to town. I would definitely stay there again. I highly recommend!

This condo is wonderful! It is very clean and comfortable. We were in Puerto Vallarta for almost 3 weeks and felt very at home in this condo. The view from the balcony was incredible; perfect for sipping coffee in the morning or enjoying a glass of wine while enjoying the beautiful sunsets. We even spotted dolphins jumping offshore a few times. I highly recommend staying here!!

Just returned from a 10 day stay at Casa Karena. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone. Dealing with Karen the owner was efficient, friendly, and professional. She made the whole transaction very easy. The unit itself was excellent. Clean, bright, and well furnished, replete with original art on the walls and comfortable beds with nice sheets. The view is fantastic, the location central for those interested in both Old Town and explorations farther up the coast. The Holiday Inn grounds and amenities, while not the fanciest around, were very pleasant. We are frequent visitors to Puerto Vallarta and this was the first time we brought our two children, 4 years and 4 months. A great time was had by all at Casa Karena. You won't be disappointed.

CasaKarena is furnished like a home. The original art, the decoration and comfortable furnishings make it a pleasant vacation. Even more impressive is the large deck with fabulous view. My husband had an accident and was pretty much confined to the unit. I was able to heat up simple meals from the grocery and from the beach shrimp hut that Karen recommended. Karen was very helpful. The Holiday Inn Staff were super - they even found a wheel chair for me to get him in and out. The local physician makes house calls and made a same day referral to a local orthopedist. We certainly hope to go back again next year. Hope you do too
