The private pool is beautifully situated, contained within a large Lanai and can be heated for your year-round enjoyment. Emerald Island Resort is a premier location less than 30-minutes drive from Orlando International Airport and within 3 to 4 minutes of numerous supermarkets, shops, and many superb restaurants. PROBABLY MORE IMPORTANT TO MOST IS THAT THIS RESORT IS WITHIN A 6-MINUTE DRIVE TO THE GATEWAY TO DISNEY.
The spacious and sunny family room which is furnished to a very high standard, overlooks the private pool through large patio doors, and has ample seating with a relaxing queen-size sleeper sofa and a second sofa in designer-matched fabrics. The vaulted ceiling adds to the roominess and the finely anointed ceiling fan adds both to the decorum and to the comfort of those enjoying the comfort of the entertainment center/large TV and a second HOME THEATER. Also, the family room features a Play Station 2 with 50+ PS-2 game disks. The patio doors from the family room lead directly out into the large Lanai-covered pool-deck as well as the heated and underwater-lighted Pool. How convenient! How comfortable!
The entire Kissimmee home is FULLY AIR-CONDITIONED throughout and also has the added benefit of ceiling fans in every bedroom and the family room. The home is carpeted with the exception of the kitchen and family room areas which are floored with a quality ceramic tile that beautifully matches the décor.
The Kissimmee vacation house features an exceptional LIVING ROOM HOME THEATER that includes a HUGH 55-inch Philips HDTV integrated with an 800-Watt Surround-Sound Home Theater System that includes a five-disk DVD and VHS system.
The 2 sumptuous Master bedrooms. The first has a NEW, KING-SIZE BED and the second has a wonderful Queen-size bed. Both Masters have dressers, night-stands, side lamps, clock-radios, ceiling fans and cable TVs with DVD and VCR. The first Master bedroom has its own direct access to the pool (just wake up and slip in, or lay in the pool). The first Master also has its own huge en-suite bathroom with a large shower cubicle, a large sunken Roman bath, his & hers vanity units, a private water-closet, and a wall-mounted hair dryer. This first Master also has a large walk-in wardrobe. The second Master incorporates a slightly smaller en-suite bathroom with a nicely anointed full-bath with wall-mounted hair-dryer, and large linen closet. Each of these Master bedrooms is very finely anointed with exquisite formal bedding, window treatments and wood accented furniture.
There are 2 more finely anointed bedrooms. Each of these has a pair of twin beds, ceiling fans, dressers, nightstands with lamps and a combination cable TV/DVD/VCR. Each of these rooms is decorated with an emphasis on children of all ages. Each twin bed is finely decorated with a theme-bedding set to include Mickey Mouse, Nimo, Batman and Spiderman. The third bathroom is nicely situated to be shared by the 2 twin-bed rooms and also serves as a pool bath as it is set up with direct access to the pool deck. It has all of the usual amenities and comes with a wall-mounted hair dryer. So, the kids can shower, swim in the heated pool and then dry-off and change without having to access their bedrooms directly. The exceptional of this Kissimmee villa kitchen comes with almost every convenience you could wish for. A very, large refrigerator with ice-maker, a full-size electric stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker with permanent filter, electric coffee grinder, smoothie-maker, filter fan and dishwasher. All the quality crockery and cutlery you could want, a selection of saucepans, frying pans, bowls and containers, knife-block with good knives - a very nice kitchen.
The finely appointed, iron and wood breakfast table comes complete with 4 chairs and coordinated place-settings. It truly makes a great place for casual eating.
There is also a beautiful, formal dining room which is nicely decorated for your immediate use and enjoyment. This will provide a very fine setting for a family gathering to share a meal and a story or two.
Next to the formal dining room is a more formal living room with two comfortable and décor-coordinated sofas with end-tables, lamps, a coffee table and more. This is an excellent place to use as a sitting/reading room for your relaxation. Or, if you would prefer, you can watch a great movie on the HUGE 55-inch TV and 800-Watt Home Theater.
The laundry is fully equipped with large, American-style appliances. The washing machine and tumble dryer will take large loads. There is also an ironing board and steam iron for your convenience.
The Pool is beautifully anointed and comes with underwater lighting for those late swims. There is a very large Lanai for your comfort. This Pool is just perfect for relaxing especially after a long day at Disney (and that drive home is only minutes). The pool is heated upon your request for year-round comfort. For the second year in a row we rented this home and again I have to thank the homeowners for their patience and cooperation, they responded to every email within a short period of time and no matter how many questions we asked they were very easy to work with, even when we added pool almost at the last minute.
The home is gorgeous and with all the electronic upgrades they have made it really did make a world of difference. All the comforts of home were right there when we needed them. Our family of six really enjoyed the pool in the evenings, we were glad that we added the pool heat as the night time temperatures in November we a bit chilly.
Located in a beautiful gated resort community which is so important where safety is a concern. It is literally a 5 min drive to Animal Kingdom, restaurants, grocery stores and a plethora of shopping was also a short drive.
We are looking forward to renting this home again in the near future.

My family stayed here for a week in November and it was a great experience. The home was perfect for us, a family of 6, we had plenty of room. The photos did not do the home justice, it was much more than we imagined. The home owner was patient and answered all questions to our satisifaction. The resort was beautiful and we felt safe and secure within the resort. The home was comfortable and relaxing after a long day at the parks, so many places to eat and shop were nearby. We will definitely use this home again if the need arises. A special thank you to the homeowners for working with us and making our vacation a magical one ºOº

I was june 1 to to june 9 , 2010 with my family, This property is really excellent , have very good fascilities and is very confortable. My Kids played all time with the playstation and the other part of my group can saw excelents films that have the house. I will can recommend this house to any person that want pass a good time with his family. A++++++++++

This was a wonderful experience, the best place ever. We would never go to a hotel, this is more comfortable and much less expensive. The house is awesome, great features, and the best of all is the owners and the management office, they keep great communication, well educated and organized. This is the most fantastic place we have ever stayed and we have been to Orlando a lot and rented a lot of places. The house is beautiful with anything you could possibly want or need. It has so much room. The pictures are gorgeous but dont do it justice. The owner was wonderful to correspond with, with very fast answers to all my questions. Its only minutes to the disney parks but even if you dont go to the parks, you will have a wonderful vacation staying there. Thank you for letting us stay in your home. It is only the beginning of alot of wonderful vacations there...!!!! We WILL be back...!!!
