Stayed there in room 11. Had a great time. Was very clean. It is located by the best beach in Ft. Lauderdale area. Walking distance to Commercial Fishing Pier where you can eat, drink, or catch fish. Staff is very friendly. I recommend highly and do plan to go back. ***** (5 StArS) Read more

We just got back from a 17 day stay at La Mer and we enjoyed every minute of it. The owners are very friendly and I myself had a good time getting to know Tom, the manager. We will definitly be back the next time we go to Florida. The room was very clean and the bed was a delight to sleep in. Such a good price for somethong that is so close to the beach. 5 stars for sure!!

We stayed there for 5 weeks and we enjoyed it so much! It was privat, quiet, clean and everything inside, we needed. The location is great!!! It was the best we ever had in Florida!!! We felt like home and we liked to stay longer. Laila and Eby are great owners. They have good words to everybody! We will come back, because we loved it there so much!
(I hope, my english was good enough, that you understand, what I wanted to say! In german it would be much easier for me ;-)))

We were there for 5 weeks. It was so nice. The people in the hotel were so friendly and Laila and Eby were the best hotel-manager we ever had!!! It was quiet and privat and it was clean. The rooms were large and the kitchen had everything inside, we needed! Many thanks to Laila with family, they gave us the feeling, to be home! We enjoyed every day and we will come back again! The location was so nice. Across the street was the nice beach of Lauderdale by the Sea. I saw so beaughtiful sunrises!

My husband and I stayed at this quaint and charming place. It was like home away from home: private, discreet and quiet. The courtyard makes you feel like you are in another world. Owner, Laila, is warm, welcoming, meticulous and helpful with shopping and dining suggestions. Nearby beach and fishing make it a great vacation getaway. We plan a longer vacation there next time.

We had the best time.The motel is clean nearby everything.The owners are great landlord.The inside garden reminded us of Mulberry Place.Very Good Choice.It is home away from home.
