I've stayed at both the Beech Mountain Condo and the Banner Elk apartment. Both are excellent. Nice furnishings in both. Both have fireplaces (so nice after the slopes). Brad and Susan are wonderful. Come visit a vacation get-away condo right on Beech Mountain Parkway and enjoy the wide variety of activities including skiing that is less than a one minute drive away from the parking area at Ski Beech.
2 Sit-on-tip kayaks are available for use
If you prefer, there is Sugar Mountain, Ski Hawksnest, or Appalachian Ski Mountain. We supply the firewood.
There are flannel sheets for cold winter nights, and plenty of afghans for nestling next to one another. Walk out onto the upper or lower decks of this Beech Mountain vacation house where you can watch the stars or watch skiers flying down the mountain in the gorgeous night skies.
There is everything you'll need to have a good time so do not bring a thing except your skis, boots, coats, and food.
The Beech Mountain vacation rental includes a large washer and dryer, an iron and ironing board if you choose to dress up, but casual dress is okay at all establishments.
There are a few sleds to take to the top of the mountain to enjoy the sledding area by the Chamber of Commerce.

In the summer time, enjoy use of the swimming pool, tennis courts, and golf at the Beech Mt. Country Club. There is a fireplace upstairs and the wood is provided. There are 2 TV's, one in the LR and one in the front bedroom (with cable TV). In the full kitchen, there's an ice maker, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, dishes, cooking/dining utensils, a waffle iron, mixer, coffee pot and grinder, paper towels & soap, toilet paper, etc.
There are walking trails nearby, Coffey Lake, Grandfather Mt is within 10 minutes, Wildcat Lake off Hickory Nut Gap Road, Valle Crusis and the Mast General Store, etc.

What a wonderful stay we had. The owners, Brad and his wife Susan, made us feel as if they have know us for years. Their apartment had everything we needed, plus so much more. It was very roomy, private, and clean, clean, clean. Looking forward to going back. My husband and I highly recommend this little piece of tranquillity to anyone who wants to stay.
