For the adventurous and nimble of foot there are four neat little beaches within 30 to 40 minutes walk/hike from The Cliffs. The famous Queen's Bath carved in the lava rock is also a similar distance away. Only one of these destinations can be reached by vehicle, although you can usually drive to small parking areas nearby which can cut your hiking time to 10 minutes or so. The North Shore is said to have a continuous string of the best beaches in all the Hawaiian islands. Certainly they are the most beautiful. Within 10 to 20 minute drive from Princeville north or south you can sample many. In most instances you can drive right up to the beach itself. To the south the first you encounter is the miles long Anini beach area with crystal clear calm waters. First to the north is Hanalei Bay, a perfect three mile crescent often voted one of the best beaches in the world. The list goes on and on. North from Princeville the road is only eight miles long until it dead ends at Ke'e beach and the start of the Kalalau Trail, but beaches are around every turn in the road. Whether you want swimming or surfing or snorkeling or scuba or wind surfing or sailing or shell hunting or fishing or picnicking or just soaking up the sun there is a beach for you. The sports or outdoors enthusiast is not limited to the ocean waters and beaches for fun.

Numerous hiking trails are easily accessible. For instance you could hike the Kalalau Trail on the Napali Coast with breathtaking views of ancient cliffs, majestic mountains, waterfalls, pristine beaches and of course the beautiful blue Pacific. There are also navigable rivers you can kayak. If golf is your passion, winding throughout Princeville itself is the Makai golf course consisting of 27 holes almost all with a view. Nearby is the famous Princeville Golf Club as well. For tennis check out the Makai Tennis Club or the tennis courts right on site at The Cliffs. Also on site are shuffle board, a volleyball court, a half basketball court, putting greens, horseshoes, bicycle rentals. At the entrance to the Princeville community is a full service library and community center as well as a shopping center. Within the shopping center for all your needs is a large grocery store with deli, a hardware store, gas station, post office and several shops and restaurants. For many more restaurants and shops the quaint little town of Hanalei is just two miles north. 50% deposit is required to book the unit with the balance being paid 30 days prior to arrival. If the reservation is made less than 30 days in advance the full amount is due upon confirmation.



Deposits are refundable in full with 45 days prior notification. A $50.00 cancellation fee will be withheld with 21 day prior notification and one night's rental within lesser days.



The Hawaiian State lodging tax is 12.25% and there is the standard $100 departure cleaning fee.
