...from Hollywood Boulevard and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. We're 3 blocks from Sunset Boulevard, and the famous Sunset Strip. Take a 10-15 minute stroll to visit Hollywood & Highland, home of the Kodak Theater, and the Academy Awards. Grauman's Chinese Theater is located in the same complex - where you will find hand and footprints of your Favorite Stars. For the young (and young at heart) you'll also find some of Hollywood's Hippest Nightlife just 2-3 blocks away. There's no need to drive or take a cab - you can walk home at the end of the evening. :)
We're a five-minute drive to all of Hollywood's major film studios, with and daily studio tours and show tapings. For a full day of fun, we are also just a five-minute drive to City Walk and Universal Studios. Parking in Los Angeles can be expensive, so please don't pay for parking when you don't have to! Just park your car in our gated drive, and walk to all of Hollywood's major attractions. There are several hop on, hop off bus stops within walking distance of the Bungalow.
If you are still weighing all your vacation options, remember that vacation rentals are a wonderful way to reduce the cost of any vacation or work trip. Our home has a full kitchen, with china, cutlery, and all normal kitchen utensils, and of course a microwave for warming your doggy bag treasure from last night's trendy Los Angeles restaurant fare. So just stock our home with breakfast food, drinks, and light meals for your stay, and save a bundle in LA.
For you history buffs :) This little Bungalow, was one of four commissioned in 1918 by Cecil B DeMille to provide upscale location housing for some of Hollywood's early Royalty. These bungalows were used like Star Wagons are today. According to the local historians, many of the Silent Film Stars of the 1920's like Charlie Chaplin, Richard Dix, Clara Bow, and Dorothy Gish were once temporary guests of this darling little home.
Now, almost 100 years later - we are very proud to have been a temporary home to several young stars and their families. Two of our previous young guests are now very successful in the entertainment business :) Both have a current TV series ... and one young man has 6 major films under his belt. (we love our movie kids!) We have also been featured on the Australian Travel Channel as a featured property.
Lovingly restored to all it's former glory, our vacation property offers you a fun chance to sleep where Legends have slept before. We promise our bright and charming Bungalow will be one of the highlights of your trip to Los Angeles. When you come to Hollywood, we want YOU to feel like a Star! Hollywood Stars Bungalow Vacation Rental Payment Methods Accepted
We prefer PERSONAL CHECKS but any form of check payment will work just fine. We do not accept credit cards, but we can accept a credit card check.
We can also accept bank to bank transfers, bill pay, electronic payments, direct deposits, and payments via PayPal with a 3% convenience fee.
If you want to use PayPal, and reside OUTSIDE of the US, there is an additional $15.00 fee for currency conversion.
Please check with us for your options. I will try to help you determine which payment method is the least expensive in your specific situation.
We have a 5 NIGHT MINIMUM if booking MORE than 30 days in advance.
We have a 3 NIGHT MINIMUM if booking WITHIN 30 days of arrival.
If you only need 3 or 4 nights, and your dates fall between two longer bookings, we can consider shorter bookings in advance with a $50.00 short-stay fee.
A 50% deposit to confirm, with the balance due 60-days prior to arrival.
Cancellation policy is located at the bottom of the Rates and Reservations page of our website.
NIGHTLY Rate $159.00 - plus tax and cleaning. $159.00 rate is valid for 1-4 guests.
There is an additional $20.00 charge per night, for any 5th and 6th guests.
