The Davis Warner Inn, located at 8114 Carroll Avenue, is the oldest house in the Takoma Park area. An imposing landmark from the street, the house has 6,400 square feet of living space. Several of the eleven bedrooms in the house are available for overnight guests. Three of the bedrooms on the 2nd. floor share a common bath. The master suite features its own bath with Jacuzzi. Each bedroom is decorated to reflect different periods of the house's history. The first floor of the house is available for weddings, private parties, meetings, and special events. Lighting fixtures have been restored to kerosene chandeliers and gas wall sconces. It includes a library, formal dining room, and a large formal living room shown here. Victorian furniture is being collected for the first floor.
