My fiancee & I spent a wonderful week at Mampoo Hill recently and it was easily the best vacation of our lives! The house is fantastic and surrounded by the natural beauty of trees, flowers, birds & wildlife, and of course the beautiful waterfront. The privacy of this place was my favorite part - we felt like we had the island to ourselves! But of course it's only a quick drive to the restaraunts and nightlife of Cruz Bay when you grow tired of blissful relaxation... The house has a full library, including many books of "insider" tips on how to enjoy the island. Don't forget to read the guestbook there, for even more inside tips! We hadn't even left the place yet, and were already planning our next trip back to Mampoo Hill - maybe even our honeymoon! I would definately recommend Mampoo Hill to anyone! (renting the Jeep with the house will save a lot of rental hassles in Cruz Bay, and will enhance your vacation tremendously!)

Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Mampoo Hill!! From the first drive into the place until we left, we thoroughly enjoyed our inaugural visit to St. John. First morning there I was up early and into the ocean, snorkeling for over an hour!
Everything was perfect! Highly recommended. We look forward to a return trip!
