Sugar bear’s overlook provides a tremendous value for your trip to the North Carolina Mountains. This large, fully equipped, 2 bed/bath cabin (sleeps 6-8) is located on a mountain side (private 5.5 acre lot) and provides a view of the local scenery.
The property combines great location, privacy, and ease of access compared to many other properties in the area.
We own/operate the cabin without the overhead of a management company. You benefit as we pass along increased value with less cost to our customers.
The log home offers a unique feature of a large basement game room including ping-pong, foosball, and other miscellaneous activities.
Enjoy the views, peace, and seclusion from the hot tub after a day of visiting the many local attractions. Unlike many other properties in the area, this cabin is located on a private 5.5 acre site however it has exceptional access to the local attractions via well maintained roads.
The property is located 8 miles from Boone/Appalachian State University (ASU) and is convenient to Blowing Rock, Valle Crucis, Grandfather Mountain and Mile High Swinging Bridge, Tweetsie Railroad (verify availability), various hiking trails, trout fishing, horseback riding, Blue Ridge Parkway, gem mining, Linville Caverns and much more.
Our large, smoke-free cabin is secluded in some of the most serene wooded mountain property in North Carolina. It sits high on the mountainside with a view of the valley. Enjoy a picnic area and fire ring for roasting marshmallows.
Overlook is a two bedroom two bath with an additional queen sleeper sofa plus extra day bed with trundle. The cabin will accommodate six to eight adults comfortably. The home is fully equipped and has a hot tub on the covered porch.
Sugar Bear's Overlook has all the comforts of home and none of the hassles. Just bring your personal things and enjoy the area.
There is so much fun to be had in and around Sugar Bear's Overlook. You can just kick back and enjoy the peace and quiet, take a stroll down a nearby hiking trail, or use the Cabin as a home base to visit the many attractions in the High Country area.
If skiing is your thing, the High Country area has four ski resorts within 30 minutes.
