This vacation rental home located in Venice, Florida is a beautiful 2000 square feet, 3 bedroom, 2 ˝ bath, single family home with a large in-ground caged pool (28 x 15 feet). It has been freshly painted and and has new furniture (August 2005), and the grounds are nicely landscaped.

Located in the Jacaranda West Country Club Village, this home has the most spectacular view overlooking a lake and five fairways of the golf course on a quiet cul-de-sac. This home has a two car attached garage.

Our Venice home will sleep six comfortably. The master bedroom has a king bed, 2 dressers and mirror, 24 “ LCD TV with DVD, large walk in closet, master bath with large walk-in handicapped accessible shower.

Bedroom 2 has two twin beds, dresser, mirror and large walk in closet. The main bathroom has tub and shower, and a separate door to the lanai and pool area.

Bedroom 3 has a double futon, dresser, desk and console TV and a half bath. All bedrooms have alarm clocks.

On the desk are a brand new Dell Computer & printer loaded with software and connected to high-speed broadband Internet service. In case you have an additional guest or two, we have two self- inflating Aero Beds in the closet.

The family room (great room sliders open to pool area) has sofa with lounge, coffee and end table two arm chairs. Breakfast nook with table and four chairs. The dining room has full size table with extra leaf and eight chairs and china closet. The living room has leather sofa, love seat and chair, end tables, and bar.

Each room has a ceiling fan (2 ceiling fans on the Lanai).

The large concrete pool has walk-in steps and underwater lighting. The pool area has cast aluminum table with 4 chairs, 2 lounge chairs, and a side table. In addition, the covered lanai has 4 chairs, and a table, and a gas grill.

We are located only minutes from beaches, several golf courses, shopping & restaurants.

Venice Florida is known for its beaches, pristine snow-white beaches (the best in the world according to the Oceanographic Institute). Prehistoric sharks teeth can be found on these beaches. Venice is located 30 minutes from Sarasota Airport, 60 minutes from Ft Myers Airport or 75 minutes from Tampa Airport.

Venice has a charming, palm tree lined historic town center filled with shops, art museums, historic houses and cafes. The Town of Venice can be best enjoyed by walking and exploring the side streets filled with coffee shops and antique stores.

If golf is your passion, you will find a dozen public golf courses with in a twenty-minute drive. In the house we have a directory of golf courses, stats, directions, costs etc.

We also have restaurant recommendations, some of our favorite that we frequent along with sample menus.

Venice a city of 19,000 residents in the summer and 25,000 in the winter offers other fine amenities like a Community Center, Art Center, Library and Yacht Club. The Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers founded the city in 1926. They hired renowned city planner, John Nolan to plan the city of Venice. A famous landscape architect, Prentiss French, was also appointed to create the lovely open spaces you will see in the city. Venice Florida enjoys an average annual temperature of 75 degrees, with summer heat and winter chill tempered by the Gulf of Mexico.

50% reservation deposit. Final payment due 60 days prior to arrival.

Cancellation & Return Policy

Deposit is non-refundable if canceled less than 60 days before check-in date. A reservation can be re-booked (using existing deposit) to another available time frame. Early departure will not be refunded.

Fees & Taxes

Add 10% of total rental fee for Florida tax and $100 cleaning fee for every reservation.

I can't imagine a more perfect rental, we felt like the guests of gracious hosts. The pool was sparkling clean and the view from the lanai of water birds and rolling golf course was so pleasant we didn't want to leave the house. Add to that internet access and everyone in the family is happy.

Spent a lovely week in this beautiful home. The lanai is wonderful with a beautiful view. The home is well decorated, very clean and we did not want for anything. I have rented homes all over the U.S. and can say this is one at the top of my list. And also at the top are Russ and Lisa. Dealing with them made me feel welcome and wanted. This is a fabulous home. We spent three months there this winter and enjoyed every minute of it. The home is very well appointed and the view is out of this world. Very private and beautiful. Lots and lots of birds come to visit daily. Truly magnificent. We are missing it already! We highly recommend this to anyone wishing a beautiful experience. We plan to return in the not too distant future.
