Our beautiful vacation rental is a 4 story, 3500 sq. ft. villa with stunning ocean views that sets a relaxing atmosphere with its charming Caribbean theme. The villa sits in the secure gated exclusive resort of Playacar Phase I, a private community in the Riviera Maya and just 3 houses away from the beach!! Close to Xamana and to Cozumel Rentals. Casa Passalacqua is in a real ideal location, although it is very close to the nightlife and so many popular activities, still it is very quiet and private, and you will feel like a world away.
Upon entering Villa Passalacqua, you will be impressed by the large picture window near the front entrance which showcases an enormous tree, easily hundreds of years old, in the garden outside. At night, carefully placed lighting enhances the magical look of this work of nature.
The spiral stairs leads you up to the rooftop solarium which has a built in BBQ, plenty of seating and boasts an impressive 360 degree view of the clear turquoise waters of the Caribbean, Cozumel Island, and the jungles.
Enjoy a cocktail on our terrace while admiring spectacular views or take a dip in our custom built large roof top infinity Jacuzzi/Pool with cascading water falls that comfortably accommodates 8 persons. We had 10 in our group, 8 adults and 2 children and we had plenty of room. The house was spacious and worked out perfectly for us
From Phase I you can walk right down to the private beach, into town and 5th Avenue and then in the opposite direction you can walk down to the beach where there is a nearly endless row of high end all inclusive resorts. For anyone debating whether to get a house in Phase I or Phase II, for beach access and the ability to talk places there is no comparison, chose Phase I of Playacar."

Location! Location! Location! One of the best things about this house is
its location. The quiet beach is so close and the shops and restaurants in
town are an easy walk. Anything else (like Sam's Club) is a five dollar
taxi ride. It is a safe and secure area. No worry about being out and
about at night. It is a quiet street with little traffic and it is raked
and swept every morning.
The house itself worked very well for us. We are a family of nine covering
three generations. The bedrooms and bathrooms gave us all plenty of space.
We had a great Christmas at Casa Passalacqua and hope to return someday.

"We had a great time in Playa del Carmen and an awesome stay at casa di pasalacqua. The house was so roomy and clean! Perfect for entertaining and so close to the private beach that was so nice to relax in. The rooftop deck was great for grilling and the pool was perfect for the sunset. We will be back!!!!!!!!"

"Went there w/ 11 people. Great time. Plenty of room. Large common areas. 2 large rooftop patios with nice views. A block from the beach. Owners/operators very helpful w/ transportation, advice... they even set us up w/ a cook to come in one night to fix dinner.
Highly recomend."

This was such a wonderful place to base our vacation from. Our group of 10 was very comfortable in the large rooms and spacious common areas. We spent many great evenings on the rooftop deck hanging out overlooking the ocean...
Owners are very responsive and helpful and gave me the feeling they really wanted to do anything they could to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The handy man stopped by just to introduce himself and let us know it is ok to call him with any concerns. I could go on, but I think you get the gist, this house is a winner for large groups.

We had an outstanding trip to Playa and really enjoyed Casa Passalacqua. The location and the house are fantastic. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which is great with a larger group and the interior looked even better in person than the pictures online. The staff (of Playa Beach Rentals) was also extremely helpful, especially Sergio, who even went and got us charcoal for the rooftop grill when we could not find it at the grocery store.
