We had a wonderful time during our month at Casa Feliz. It was peaceful, quiet & very relaxing. The beach was beautiful with very few people. The trolly works very well. You can take it to St Arnand's Circle & not deal with parking. The location is close to downtown Sarasota, we went to the Farmer's Market on Saturdays & it was great. So you have the best of both worlds, peace & quiet here or the activity (shopping, arts & craft shows, farmer's market, restaurants) in Sarasota. We hope to rent again next February.

Everything here is great. We are really enjoying the place and its surroundings. We have been biking, walking in Durante Park, and most important of all, testing out the fine restaurants around the area. The Dry Dock Grille is really great as are many others we have tried. Of Course, Harry's is fabulous. Thanks again for renting to us. We will certainly consider coming back in future years.

Our month long stay at Casa Feliz was everything we had hoped for. The canal offered tranquil water and some fishing. The neighborhood was friendly and quiet. We enjoyed the walks in Durante Park and also the beautiful beaches which were close by. We ate at many great restaurants on the island and found the shopping at St Armands Circle to be a novel experience. Tracy and Stephen had the residence tastefully furnished with all the necessities easily accessible. The free long distance phone service and internet access were an added bonus. They were always mindful of our needs and are exceptional people to work with. We are looking forward to extending our stay for next year.

Danny and I had a wonderful week in your house in Longboat. We really explored the area and loved it. We wish we had known how wonderful the Durant Park was before our last day there. We would have gone there every day! We hope to rent your spot again sooner rather than later. You did a great job of outfitting your spot...even having our favorite Tervis tumblers! We bought a beach umbrella to use and left it in the closet for future guests to use (hopefully us again!)

Kim and I and the kids wanted to thank you for an enjoyable experience at Casa Feliz. It was as advertised and more, we really enjoyed the stay and would be most willing to do business again. The positives were the cleanliness of the property, the fact that you furnished all the amenities. We liked having a washer/dryer for our use as well and the walk to the beach was short and enjoyable. It sits on a quiet street and that is nice as well. The basket and wine was a nice touch. You really have a gem here!

This is such a beautiful area! We loved staying at Casa Feliz and are planning to book for a longer stay next year! We rate this wonderful place "2 Thumbs Up"!

I had the good fortune of staying in the Tropical Side of Casa Feliz last winter. It was a wonderful little “island get-a-way” for me. I had everything I needed. There were all the modern conveniences if I wanted them, or I could while away the days or evenings with nature – the park with its beautiful bay views, the grass, trees, and the canal by my door. Or, I could grab my little chair and head for the beach and search for sand dollars. I often found more than I could carry home. A wonderful beach for shelling. I could be as close to all the charms of downtown Sarasota and St. Armand’s Circle as I wanted, or as far away as I wanted to be. All in all, I’m so glad my son and daughter-in-law found this little place and decorated it so charmingly. It was nice to become a little bit of the “local” scene for a wonderful time. I wish you the joy of discovering your own treasures…….

Casa Feliz is a delightful Caribbean Canal retreat on Longboat Key, Florida. We enjoyed this quiet, tastefully furnished home overlooking a canal leading to Sarasota Bay. This vacation rental has everything one could desire... including wireless computer service and unlimited long distance phoning, which was a great bonus for us. The mattresses are new and most comfortable, as is all furniture in the living room area. Kitchen is easy to work in and furnished thoughtfully with all necessities. The large screened lanai is sunny and was much utilized. In short, we had a most relaxing time while there. Walks in the adjacent park, days at the sugar-sand Gulf of Mexico beach, and cultural events in the city of Sarasota made for much fun. Neighbors on St Jude Drive were most welcoming... we made new friends... great people. We grew especially fond of the owners of Casa Feliz... Tracy and Stephen Simpson. They were always solicitous of our needs, and made sure at all times that we were comfortable. Charming, thoughtful couple... we envy their ownership of this little slice of Heaven on Longboat Key, and wish them many years of enjoyment there in the future.
