The Bermuda vacation cottage is the converted and recently renovated bedroom wing of the property: it is built off to one side of the main house (not behind the main house structure) and enjoys its own garden and ocean views. The Bermuda cottage has a main floor bath, a bedroom, kitchen and dining area with fireplace, a living room and a pretty second bedroom with a balcony enjoying commanding ocean views. This Bermuda vacation cottage overlooks an entrancing cobbled courtyard with comfortable out-door furniture, made private with walls and greenery and a shady tree where you can barbecue, enjoy the stars, the dawn and the views of the ocean. The pool is accessible through the courtyard gate from 9 am till 6pm. In the evening, the owners of the home (who reside in the main house most of the year) reserve the exclusive use of the pool unless an invitation is expressly extended to guests.

The furnishings of both properties are gorgeous: fresh, cool and precisely right for a tropical home on the ocean. The bedrooms are air-conditioned and all linens are supplied: we ask that you bring your own beach towels with you, as our house linens must not to go to the shore.
Both properties have working fire-places (2 in the Main House and 1 in the Cottage) that add charm in the winter months. There are also cable TV connections, radios and stereo systems in both properties.

Close to the quiet waters of Devonshire Bay (where fresh fish can be purchased for dinner from the fisherman on their boats in the late afternoon) Devonshire is an ideal location: not 8 minutes leisurely moped ride from Hamilton (about 2-3 miles away ) with all its shops and cafes. Continuing up the South Shore coast heading west are all the large beautiful beaches of the South Coast- starting with Elbow Beach and going all the way to Church Bay- a snorkeler's paradise.
Devonshire Bay Beach is only 2 minutes walk away if you want to swim in the sea, and snorkelling off the rocks of the property is excellent. The bus stop on the main route is only 3 minutes walk from the property. About 5 minutes walk away is a local grouping of shops and services including a large pharmacy with 24 hour cash machine, a fully stocked grocery store (with liquor) and 3 restaurants. For that special dining out experience, treat yourself to an evening at the new Aqua Restaurant at Ariel Sands which is also only 5 minutes walk away. Ariel Sands also has an excellent Spa.
