Extra services are easily arranged upon your request to our manager. We even have a playhouse and swing set for the kids. Some of our extra services include:

Our recommended friendly drivers have their own well-equipped and well-maintained vans and taxis and are happy to see to all your transportation needs, including airport transfers, at reasonable rates. They will be happy to check with you each day if asked.

Nirvana is a haven right in the best part of Negril Beach, we stayed there for 2 weeks in June & had a wonderful time thanks to the staff & manager who treated us like family. We had stayed at other places but now have found our dream place in Negril. We plan to return with some friends in March.

This is a very special and beautiful place to stay. My husband and I enjoyed our honeymoon at Nirvana very much. The beach is gorgeous. Moses made sure we were not bothered and we always felt very safe both on the beach and on the grounds. Lyn watched over us and made us feel like family.
It is important to know that Hurricane Dean did not hurt Negril or Nirvana, and that both are waiting to welcome you. If you are thinking of going, don't hesitate to experience one of the nicest places in all of Negril. The staff was very attentive and helped to make sure we had the best honeymoon ever!

Loved my stay at Nirvanna and would recommend to a friend. We rented a cabin (3 BR, 2BA) and stayed for a week. By the end of the first 24 hours we knew everyone - the staff; the guest; our driver - and could trust them! Their local knowledge of what to do (and what to avoid!) set us off on the right foot.
The cabin was perfect for us. An open air living room kept us connected to the outdoors even when we were at home. Having a kitchen gave us flexibility with our meals - we could cook, have Nirvanna cook for us, or eat out depending on how we felt. Nirvana took good care to orient us to the communitiy by leaving us a map and restaurant and other service recommendations. Definitely use their suggestions - they really are the best of Negril.
In my travels, I often find that it's the little things that I smile looking back on. My little things from Nirvanna are:
- Airport Pick-Up
- fresh coconut milk and meat
- Red Stripes with our neighbors
- Nightly "check ins' from the staff (to see how we were doing)
- Best in the West Jerk Chicken
- Ozzie's fish!
- Purchasing jewelrey from a rasta in the comfort of our room
- Moses' umbrella from the car to the cabin
- Conversations with Sydney about Jamaican culture
- Rice and Peas cooked by the ladies
- extra bag of oranges from the neighbors (when they left)
- recommendations from our neighbor (who's been at Nirvanna 17 times!)
This little hotel is family owned and operated. It's a great place for families. I look forward to one day returning with mine.

We could see the beach from our 2-bedrrom cabin which was situated in a pretty garden setting. Staff there was incredible - from the security staff who make sure everything you want and need at the beach is taken care of to the cooking and cleaning staff. Yes - cooking! Your price of lodging includes one cooked meal a day and the ladies are wonderful cooks! It was heavenly to walk up from the beach to a cabin filled with the aromas of browned chicken stew! We enjoyed exploring the town of Negril. Easy to get there either by taxi or by a nice walk down the beach. If you do walk the beach to Negril, be sure to leave the beach by way of the public market so you can browse and shop. Lots of great restaurants either direction on the beach easy and safe to walk to. Absolutely take advantage of the driver that Nirvana sets up for you - he'll pick you up at the airport and take you back at the end of your trip, but is also availble for any trips you might want to take - from day trips to just heading into town to get groceries. We're definately going back!

The setting at Nirvana is everything we had read about on other review sites. The grounds are well landscaped, but very natural versus formal. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The choices of room types fit each of the persons in our party ( we had 14 people staying there). All the cottages are close enough to the ocean that you can hear it at night and for the elderly in our wedding party close enough to make for an easy walk to sun , sand, water, and fun. If you want hustle, excitement, crowds, etc go to a super club. If you want friendship, relaxation, quiet times, meditative setting, and safe accomodations go to Nirvana. From the beginning , Lonnie (the owner) told us we were family and we were made to feel that way from the first day we stayed there.

My wife and I just returned from Nirvana in Negril. This was our first time to not stay at a 5 * All-Inclusive resort. We were hesitant to say the least but booked with the owners, Stanley and Lonnie, based on the reviews we read here. The owners were very kind and helpful in answering all our questions and concerns.
Nirvanas driver picked us up at the airport and gave us an informative ride along the coast to Negril. He was very pleasant and easy to talk with. We used Nirvanas drivers a lot to travel around Negril and they were always 1st class. When we arrived we were met by the G.M., Ziggy. She was very helpful and welcoming. We asked many questions of her throughout our trip and she was always more than glad to offer her help. They lead us through the gardens and our first impressions were how beautiful this place is. All the exotic plants and flowers under big trees with clean white sand to walk on. Hammocks and cozy little nooks to relax and read, or just watch nature, were scattered around the property. Then we arrived at our Upper Veranda suite. It was large and roomy with a screened in porch which looked out over the gardens and the beach. Had his & hers sinks with large indoor & outdoor showers. Plenty of storage space for the clothing we packed. Kitchen was small but just right for what we needed. Large king size poster bed covered with netting, very romantic. 4 loungers to sit in, 2 on screened porch and 2 in room. We enjoyed eating breakfast every AM on the porch listening to the waves roll in.
This property is so unlike any resort we have ever been to, in a good way. No restaurant or bar, so the evenings were very quiet and peaceful. Could sit on the porch and read while listening to the ocean. No loud music or people hooping and hollering at a bar. If you wanted that it was just a short walk down the beach in either direction. White Sands had a convienent bar next door.
We enjoyed walking the beach in both directions and finding neat little places to eat. We tried a lot places which we found mentioned on tripadvisor and then some we hadnt heard of also. We ate a variety of Jamaican dishes and enjoyed them all. Had great lobster the night we went to the cliffs for dinner. Nirvana is located about in the middle of 7 mile beach. After walking both directions we concluded the Nirvana has the widest, deepest and cleanest beach by far. Lots of places have very narrow strips of sand and lots of people crowded into a small area. Nirvanas beach was cleaned every AM and had lots of shade and plenty of room for everyone at the resort. The beach security was great. If any vendors lingered to long, Bonnie would move them along. We always left or belongings on our beach chair because Bonnie said he would watch them until we returned from our walk or lunch. He never failed to be there like he said. Nirvana guests had horseshoes, kayaks and water floats available to use anytime.
The owner, Stanley, arrived two days before we left. Very nice gentleman with lots of great stories about Negril. When we would see him he would be making improvements to the property. New hammocks, swing chairs, etc. Stanley takes a lot of pride in the property and it shows. If you just walk the beach and look at some of the other properties available you can definently tell a difference.

What sets Nirvana apart from the other smaller hotels on 7 mile beach is the space and the quiet. For the size of the property (close to 2 acres?) there are only 8 or 9 rooms. It is a peaceful, relaxing oasis - no crowds, no glitz. It is an older property, but is kept up beautifully. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, functional and very clean. The grounds are magnificent. The beach is on one of the nicest stretches of 7 mile, and is raked and cleaned daily. Just soft sand, no shoes needed anywhere on the property! Because of the small number of guests, the beach is never crowded, there is no need to "save" lounge chairs or space....there are more than enough chairs and lots of perfect beach space both in the sun and the shade. Great walking in either direction along the beach. Lots of bars and restaurants close by, but none at Nirvana - so no added foot traffic or noise, which adds to the ambience. I noted that the hotels with bars/restaurants had them on the beach - so that although the hotel was technically on the beach, the rooms looked out onto the bar/restaurant. Not at Nirvana. It is really right on the sand with unobstructed water views. The staff is friendly, available and unintrusive. Arrangements are made through the owners in the US and that made communication very efficient and easy. Our trip went without a hitch, everything was delivered as promised. This is not the place to go if you want new, high- gloss, party-scene, room service, etc. But if you want the perfect beach, quiet and privacy, this place is truly Nirvana.

This was the best place my teenage son and i could have gone. We had a relaxing vacation and were able to connect as a family. This is the place if you want to get away the hecticness of life and just relax in a lush and tropical place. The staff is friendly, courteous and ready to help with any and everything.

Nirvana is an aptly named family managed piece of paradise. Although it takes place at an island pace, the staff's commitment to service equals that of the best luxury hotel. Get your fresh fruit and vegetables right off the truck, have the staff cook a Jamaican meal, stroll next door for a fruity drink, nap in the hammock, swim for hours, hire a boat to go snorkeling, the list of relaxing activities can go on forever.
The plot of beach on which Nirvana's cottages are located evokes the feeling of what Negril must have been like 30 years ago. It is located in between the cliffs and the northern part of the beach where all of the mega-compounds of all-inclusive hotels are located. If you prefer to remain independent when you travel, but you still want comfort, Nirvana is an excellent choice. You can be entirely left alone to chill in private with the additional comfort of knowing people are looking out for you. If you feel like taking part in Jimmy Buffett kitch, just stroll down the beach. Or, just step out front and get a cab for dinner at the cliffs.
