For a beach cottage it is great! It is one block off the beach right in the middle of Kill Devils Hill. The kitchen has everything you need, and it has a washer and dryer on the first floor. The top floor has new flooring instead of carpet which looks great. I would go and stay 3 or more weeks at a time and it was perfect for me and my family. ... Read more

For a beach cottage it is great! It is one block off the beach right in the middle of Kill Devils Hill. The kitchen has everything you need, and it has a washer and dryer on the first floor. The top floor has new flooring instead of carpet which looks great. I would go and stay 3 or more weeks at a time and it was perfect for me and my family. I took a beach cart and every morning would go to the beach and set up, and just walk back and forth to the cottage all day. Late afternoon I would pack up and go back to the cottage and park the cart underneath. The outdoor shower is great at the end of the day at the beach. It is located on Memorial Drive which has very little traffic and I would bike and jog every morning without the hassle of the busy Virginia Dare Drive. It you are looking for a nice and comfortable beach cottage at a good price and a good location this is a great little cottage.
