Located 150 miles south of Nassau is Long Island, located in the Exuma's chain of the Bahamas on the northern end of the Island sits Cape Santa Maria.

Long Island has been graced by several names. The Indians called it YUMA, Columbus called it FERNANDINA after his mentor in Spain.

Far from every day stress, this remote (no newspaper), spectacular, and as of yet undiscovered world class 4 mile long deserted white-sand beach is regarded by seasoned travelers as one of the Ten (10) most beautiful beaches in the world.

The only footprints you'll find, are your own behind you.

Carry your snorkel gear and walk to the north end of the beach and just 50 feet from the shore you will find a shallow reef with every species of tropical fish imaginable.. Or take a boat to Columbus Cliffs and park it on the beach a short distance up-the river.- Fabulous snorkeling is just a short swim away, in front of the cliffs. Learn the art of snorkeling and catch your own conch and lobster, or charter for deep-sea fishing or learn the backcountry flats for bone fishing in you own private whaler style boat. (Boat & gas not included call for rates and deposit)
