...Our Rincon beach house, named Lemontree for the huge landmark lemon tree across from the property, has three bedrooms, and two updated baths, a spacious living room, dining area, a completely equipped kitchen, and a huge lanai or terrace-covered and directly on the beach. The lanai is furnished with a table and chairs for dining, adirondeck chairs, and a bar with stools. This is a very comfortable space for up to six people.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are just a couple, we will be happy to rent just one bedroom. Just tell me the space you need and we will work with you to provide a setting that makes for a happy and memorable holiday. The one bedroom will be priced accordingly, call and we will talk or email me.

We live here at Lemontree in the beach house next door. Unlike other vacation rentals, we are on site for your comfort and ease. I will provide you with a map of Rincon and orient you to the surrounding areas...all the beaches, restaurants and fun places to go. Daily housekeeping service will make your life here much easier too. We have found that guests like having beds made, trash removed, towels freshened, and floors swept. The housekeeper, Marilyn, is bilingual and is happy to talk to you about our fun relaxed town of Rincon. We also invite you to a wine and cheese one night a week during the winter months! Please plan to join us.

You will be relaxed by the Caribbean surf so close to the house - and the tropical plants and flowers in the garden will delight your senses. Take a swim, walk as far as your legs will carry you collecting sea glass and shells (I can never resist picking them up even though I walk almost every day!) Prepare your dinner in your own kitchen, use the gas grill for a BBQ and then enjoy dining on your terrace/lanai while you gaze at the beach. As we face directly south, during the winter months you will see the full sunrise and full sunset! Spectacular. Make sure you watch for the legendary green flash at sunset. Rincon is known as the town of beautiful sunsets and there is always one of these a day!

Rincon is a delightful beach town with all that a beach town offers...relaxed atmosphere, great restaurants, enough stores to satisfy simple needs, and lots of beachy things to do: surfing, swimming, parasailing, sailing, snorkeling (on Lemontree's beach or at Steps Beach), scuba diving, bird watching, and beachcombing. Great day trips are possible too: Parguera’s bioluminescent bay, Camuy Caves, Arecibo Observatory, Ponce's Vigia Cross and the Seralles Castle, Hacienda Buena Vista Coffee Planation, the quaint town of San Germain with its cobblestone streets and impressive architecture, and the coffee capital Yauco, built almost vertical on the mountain.

Whether a family holiday or an intimate time together to renew your relationship or begin your life together after a wedding or commitment ceremony, Lemontree will provide a memorable beachfront setting. Very, very private, tranquil and a comfortable place to enjoy being together at the beach.

Now a little about us…Ted and I (Bella Jane) live here at Lemontree. This is our dream come true...to live right on the beach. We left our wool black & gray suits of NYC and traded them in for the linens of vivid colors and whites of the tropics. We came here as two business oriented people and have now found our aesthetic selves. Todd is a photographer and I watercolor and paper mache. Our works graces the walls of Lemontree. We have embraced Puerto Rican music and are learning from the Lopez Cruz Foundacion in Viejo San Juan, how to play the cuatro, tiple and bongo. We have formed a little conjunto or band with some friends and play for children's homes, homes for the elderly and our Lemontree guests and friends

Living by the ocean, one comes to be in tune with nature. The rhythm of our day responds to what is happening with the weather, the sun and the lapping waves rather than the date or clock. There is always a gentle cooling breeze and who would have thought that living in the tropics one wouldn't need air conditioning! We are inspired daily by what we see around us here at Lemontree and walks along the ocean. That inspiration finds expression and informs my paper mache and watercolors, Ted's photography and our music.

We, Ted and Bella Jane, are committed to providing our guests with a memorable and splendid holiday. We have considered what we would like to have on a holiday and provided those things. We provide your start up service of Puerto Rican coffee, milk and sugar. On request, our guests receive an authentic Japanese yukata cotton kimono robe for their ease and comfort at LemonTree. You have a paperback book library in Lemontree and we are happy to offer you a selection of DVD's. You will have fun BBQs with the gas grill. We can arrange for soothing and relaxing in-suite massages and fabulous catered meals. We will be happy to schedule scuba diving, snorkeling, surfing or boogie board lessons All you need to do is make a request!

Rincon and the LemonTree have enough to keep you as busy or as relaxed as you so choose!

Swimming, Fishing, Horseback Riding,Sea Kayaks, and surfing or boogie boarding lessons will keep you happily involved in the natural surrounds of Rincon. Taino Divers is a fantastic dive operation and will take you to incredible dive sites around Desecheo Island and local reefs. If you'd like a day trip, Camuy Carverns & Arecibo Observatory (1 hr drive). Rincon Lighouse Park. Ponce cultural center and Mayaguez zoo are great destinations. Rincon has many yummy and wonderful restaurants which range from simple sandwiches to meals of many courses. We are happy to discuss and make recommendations!
