Description

This beautiful custom built home is a perfect vacation retreat on Kauai’s lush northern shore that comfortably accommodates six to eight within the main house. This approximately 2,2000 ft2 house plus almost 500 ft2 of covered lanais has a distinctly Oriental feel and features a large great room with vaulted ceiling over 23 ft high and koa wood floors, high ceilings in other rooms, marble and granite finishes, numerous ceiling fans, three skylights and custom lighting. In conjunction with our adjacent cottage, Anini Ohana Hale, the combined houses can comfortably sleep 12 in 5-6 bedrooms. The two houses are a great combination for a family reunion or other large gathering but be sure to reserve as far in advance as possible to assure that both houses are available.

The large master suite has a king size bed and a marble bathroom with twin vanities and luxurious shower like an East Asian 5-Star hotel. There is a separate marble Jacuzzi room with a second entrance from the back lanai. The other two oversized bedrooms each have direct access to separate lanais through screen doors, queen beds, and share a large marble bathroom and shower/tub. The large, fully-equipped kitchen has koa wood cabinets and granite counter tops as well as outdoor propane grill and charcoal barbecue. There are three dining areas including a large dining room and the front lanai with partial ocean view. Complete, free laundry facilities are present along with newly added outside hot/cold shower and separate foot bath for rinsing upon return from the beach. The home is well equipped with games/puzzles, 15 sightseeing and other guide books, beach books, stereo CD player, VCR/2DVDs and selected videos, and 2 cable TVs. A cable modem with newly added wireless router added permitting broadband connection via wifi or either ethernet or USB with cables provided all complementary. New 2-person kayak also available for use on Anini Beach Lagoon

Directly across a quiet street is a beach access path. In about one minute's walk from the house you are on beautiful, clean, sandy Anini Beach Lagoon, noted for its double reef making it the safest beach on Kauai for swimming, kayaking, sunbathing, etc. The sound of the surf from the bedrooms is a soothing reminder of its nearness.

Anini Beach also features windsurfing, sailboarding, snorkeling, fishing and charters, and a lovely park with fresh water and electricity and pavilions for picnickers. Bird watching is a delight. Polo matches are held on Sunday afternoons from May to September. Wonderful surfing, boogie-boarding and river kayaking is just around the point. It’s only about 5 minutes by car to the Princeville Resort area where there are world-renowned golf courses, many shops, a super market, tennis, helicopter rides, wagon trail rides, hiking, biking, etc. 5 minutes in the other direction by car is Kilauea with its famous Lighthouse, bird sanctuary, Guava Plantation, etc.

Deposits

$500 reservation/security deposit required immediately to hold reservation. Fully refundable 2-3 weeks after end of rental. Deposit somewhat higher for parties of 5 or more, younger children and/or stays longer than 1 week.

Cancellation & Return Policy

Deposit is refundable up to 90 days prior to rental net a $100 handling fee. The full rental fee is due by 60(90) days before occupancy (for Christmas or extended stays). Within 90 days of rental/deposit, refunds are provided only to the extent that replacement rentals can be gotten.

Fees & Taxes

$25 nightly and $150 per week for each guest more than 6 ; 11.37% Hawaiian taxes or as modified by Hawaii plus $195 for out-cleaning
