Our hillside Nantucket-style Port Sanilac bed and breakfast was built in 1993 offering comfort and convenience with country charm. Our guests have full access to the facilities with three guest bedrooms available with a private bath. The Port Sanilac house is air conditioned, with the option of an open window and fresh lake air for those who prefer it. There is a seating area with color television, a balcony for a breathtaking view, and a hot tub for a most relaxing time.

Golf, walking, hunting are a few other outdoor activities for your enjoyment. Looking for indoor adventures? Theater, museums, antique shops and local artisans all have much to offer you. We will inform you of special events happening during your stay, as well as seasonal opportunities. Spring, summer and fall each offer their own special beauty and events for enjoyment.

In addition, massage is among the most effective means available to combat stress. A certified massage family therapist is available on the week-ends. Susan Daves is qualified to do muscle release for back strain, neck and headache tension. This would be a good opportunity for a relaxing day in the country.

Bring your camera to take pictures of the Hugging Tree, wildlife, and rare flowers.Enjoy a fun day at a tree house deep in the rustic woods. Have a picnic near the trickling creek that runs just below the tree house.There is a special treat in this new haunt because it is so different from where we spend most of our time. The area beckons us to slow down and relax for a few minutes or days as we leave behind a hectic, fast paced world punctuated by phone call, schedules and commitments.

Looking at the landscape it is important to ask yourself, What makes this place tick? Old forest trails, clearings, and open expanses with ancient stumps beckon to those interested in the days long past.
