Sapphire Beach Resort is located one mile from the town of Red Hook on the eastern end of the St. Thomas island. Red Hook provides all conveniences and grocery shopping, along with many additional dining options. Ferry service to St. John and the British Virgin Islands is also available from Red Hook. This is one of St. Thomas's finest all-suite properties located on one of the world's most beautiful Caribbean beaches. The resort is right on the beach - the beautiful Sapphire Beach, shaded with palms, and majestic in its beautiful jewel-toned water from aquamarine water near the beach to deep sapphire blue in the distance. The multi-level cascading freshwater pool overlooks the Caribbean Sea. Amenities include a water sports center with snorkeling, windsurfing and sunfish sailing and Marina steps from your door. Guest enjoy complimentary tennis on two courts.

Eating In and Out As you might expect on an American Island, you can order pizza from Senior Pizza in Red Hook, and the good senior will deliver right to D-207. On the second level of American Yacht Harbor…the building on your left in Red Hook…is Sopchoppy Pub. Many feel that the pizza here is even better than Senior Pizza, but you have to eat it there or bring it back to the Unit yourself. There is also a Chinese restaurant called Wok-and-Roll, which has a take-out window but on our last visit, at least, did not deliver. New Delivery service will though! Call 998-4625 Wok& roll, Burrito Bay Deli, Buddah Bar, East End Cafe, Molly Malones, all deliver through this service. Azure is a wonderful Restaurant on your property walk up the hill to the Green top Sapphire Village condo's Azure is tucked into the hillside dine inside with open breeze or out we love it there! Duffy’s World Famous Love Shack, which turns into a dance hall at 10 p.m., has a really excellent casual menu.
