We only stayed one night. The home reeked of cat urine. Whilte carpets were stained yellow. Owner offered to have maintenance mask odor with fragrance. Our family members are highly allergic to cats, so this was not an option. We did want a place that accepted pets, however, we've never seen a place that allowed cats or at least didn't disclos... Description & Details of Stargazer
Beautiful single story canal front home. Carpeted throughout except kitchen and laundry rooms. One car garage home. Stargazer is one block off of the Gulf of Mexico Drive in mid island Longboat Key. Living dining room 'L' shape with formal dining area. Off of laundry room is sunny caged lanai with electric heated pool. Lush tropical landscaping surrounds pool for ultimate privacy. Backyard is narrow, consists of crushed shell mulch and tropical plantings. Off of the seawall there is a wooden deck which lets you get 6 ft out into the canal. To the left is the new 10,000 lb. boatlift, ready to hold your boat.

Joan Durante State Park is one block south. Mote Marine Aquarium is 7 miles south. St. Armand's Circle, Lido Beach, Siesta Key and downtown Sarasota are short distances away. Bradenton Beach is short drive north. Stargazer has its own deeded beach access one block away. Just walk to beginning of street and cross the Gulf of Mexico Drive. Stargazer has two adult bikes onsite to bicycle on the many biketrails on Longboat Key.

Ringling Museum of Art, Antique Car Museum, Mote Marine Aquarium, St. Armand's Circle, Siesta Key are all attractions worth visiting. Or just enjoy Stargazer house, with it's luxurious leather sofa living room set. Lay on the sofa and gaze out onto the turquoise water canal, is it low tide or high tide? Lounge by the pool and soak up the sun, then take a dip in the heated pool. All in a hard day's work.
