Red Tulip - 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, sleeps 6. The Red Tulip is in an old 17th century warehouse that has been renovated into luxury modern apartments. Authentic details, like the beams, remain.

It is possible at this opulent apartment located directly along the beginning of the Vondelpark near Amsterdam's main canals and just minutes walk from major museums like the Rijks Museum, Van Gogh Museum and the Stedelyk Museum.

Flying Dutchman - 3 Bedrooms, 1.5 Bathrooms, sleeps 8. One of the oldest and most authentic Dutch canal houses, the Flying Dutchman is beautifully located along the canal belt. This canal house is virtually on the Amstelveld, where you can watch the locals play a game of football (soccer).

Houseboat - 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, sleeps 6. One of Amsterdam's most prestigious and largest Houseboats, the Odge de la Mar, is moored in the heart of old Amsterdam at the Montelbaan Tower.

Mondrian - 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, sleeps 4. This loft apartment is set right in the middle of the concentric circles that form Amsterdam's historic center. Location wise you cannot feel more part of 17th century Amsterdam than here. The apartment is on the top two floors (so you will get some exercise after all) of this historic building overlooking the junction of the Herengracht and the Leliegracht.

A visit to this beautiful city is sometimes like taking a walk in the 17th century. The center of Amsterdam has a lot of charming architecture dating from this period. It's an excellent city to tour on foot. However, Amsterdam may boast a lot of 17th century architecture, but that's about all that's old fashioned about the place.
