Description & Details of The Stone Hearth Inn and Tavern
Constructed circa 1810, this Federal Style Home with connected barn was first converted to an Inn around 1940. The spacious Inn now features 10 guest accommodations, all with private bathroom, most featuring a Queen size bed. Unique characteristics include many of the original details - exposed beams, wide board hardwood floors and original fireplaces. Named for the beautiful "stone hearth" in the guest sitting room/library, fall and winter travelers enjoy unwinding with a cocktail from the Inns Tavern in front of the warm fireplace. The spacious guest areas offer a Hot Tub, Pool Table and other recreational activities, including an Outdoor Patio.
Located in the heart of Southern Vermont's Okemo Valley Region, visitors enjoy skiing at nearby Okemo, Bromley, Magic and Stratton Mountains. Easy access to many villages and towns including Manchester and Woodstock. Minutes from the Inn, summer travelers enjoy the Weston Playhouse, the state's oldest professional theatre.
