One hour from Honolulu, Hauula is located on the undeveloped, lush windward side of Oahu and offers a low-key atmosphere, striking landscapes and many fun-filled adventures. The deep green Koolau Mountains plunge dramatically into the ocean and valleys of the windward side, their peaks coaxing the clouds, invite brief rain showers on almost a daily basis just enough to keep our gardens rich with all the colors of the rainbow! It's our little piece of paradise...and we want to share it with you and your family.
We are 5 minutes from the world-famous Polynesian Cultural Center. Many deserted, white sandy beaches line our Windward shores great for scuba-diving, snorkeling or simply relaxing in the sun. World-famous surfing at Sunset and Pipeline Beaches is only 20 minutes away. Excellent hikes, such as Hauula Loop and the Makapuu Ridge trailheads, are only a 5 minute walk. Spend the day at the Kualoa Ranch 15 minutes away. This 4,000 acre cattle ranch offers horseback riding, ATV rides, visits to Jurassic Park movie set, ancient fish ponds, WWII bunkers and historical exhibits. Shopping for groceries, local Hawaiian treasures in small shops and farmers markets are only minutes away. Many good local eateries are nearby. Visit us and experience the authentic Aloha of Hawaii.
