Almost all of the ocean activities available on Maui can be done from Maalaea Harbor, which is conveniently close, but not intrusive, including: whale watching, scuba diving, deep sea fishing and romantic sunset cruises. There are over four miles of white, sandy, un-crowded beach which fronts a bird and turtle nature conservancy located at the end of our road.

We just got back from our trip to Maui and wanted to tell you what a great time we had! You were so right about the whales-all we did was stand at the lanai doorway and look for a spout and get out the binocs and watch the Moms teach the babies to breach, pound their tails, flip their flippers--really neat!
The condo was very clean and comfortable-- we sure miss hearing the surf when we go to bed.
Hope we can get back at this time of year and, if we do, we will try for your place again.

We loved the king bed, table inside with 4 chairs and the same on the lanai with a chaise lounger, 2 stools under the bar, washer and dryer, ceiling fans, coffee maker, blender, towels, beach towels, cooler. We loved having our own assigned and convenient, covered parking spot.
I also liked that this particular condo was on the top floor (4th) away from the elevators. Elevator was quick. Shopping carts were available on Basement level by the parking spots if needed as luggage or grocery carts, which I thought that was ingenious.
In summary, the location was wonderful being central on the island, the wind was not excessive, and we just loved this condo and the owners were a pleasure to deal with.

What a fantastic view of the ocean and Haleakala. The whale watching from your lanai was the best we had seen on the island. The king size bed was so comfortable and the sound of the ocean was relaxing. This is a great central location for getting anywhere on the island. We look forward to returning to this piece of paradise.
