Perfectly placed on it's own private acre of land with lots of lawn space, mature trees and waterfront it's setting is truly exceptional. Relax with your morning coffee as the quaint waterfall cascades down the rocky hill alongside you, rushing into beautiful Lac Maskinonge directly in front of the cottage. Sit on the rocks in the falls and you can get a massage while the water rushes over your shoulders!

In summer, swim in the clean warm water, canoe or kayak on the lake, fish from the property's edge or the charming country bridge a few steps away... or just sit and enjoy the setting sun over the lake from a rocking chair on the wrap-around porch that offers a view of the entire property. Southern exposure means long sunny days and beautiful sunsets. Unwind on one of two patios equipped with deck chairs and tables or kick back in the hammock shaded by flourishing trees. Cook your meals on the gas barbeque provided or get real rustic and try your hand at the grill over the waterside fire pit. The waterfront is perfect with a sandy bottom gradual entry, as well as parts where you can run and dive right in. Over 200 feet of the property is lined with water.

In winter, enjoy sliding down the large hill at the side of the house, skate on the lake, go for a hike on one of the many unexplored trails close by to spot deer, or enjoy a day of skiing. At the end of the day enjoy a cup of hot chocolate by the slow-burning wood stove, or relax and warm up in the hot tub before playing a game or watching a movie (some games and movies provided). Picture windows offer a beautiful view of the muted surroundings this time of year, and the bright, cozy decor of the chalet make it okay to stay inside. There is year-round easy, safe access as all roads are public.

The interior of the cottage is very quaint and cozy with wood-beamed cathedral ceilings and woodstove. Fully-equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, fridge, stove and chilled spring water provide all the comforts of home. Two welcoming bedrooms with double beds and duvets as well as a comfy pull-out couch in the living room and inflatable mattress allow for plenty of guests (linens provided).

Also included is 60 minutes of long-distance calling, firewood, propane gas, basic kitchen staples, all linens, spring water, and washer/dryer.
