Many people think the only place to stay in Puerto Vallarta is on the beach. That is fine, but when people stay there, they miss so much of the town and the Mexican culture. They spend their time on the beach with other tourists from Canada, the US and other places instead of experiencing the 'real' Mexico. Our condo is an 'open air / lanai type ' marvel, part of a unique architectural building originally designed as a 12 suite hotel, each with its own full kitchen and plunge pool. ( it's sister building is the famous 'Ochos Cascades' in Conchas Chinas ). Enjoy a wonderful view of Banderas Bay over the red-tiled rooves of the Zona Romantica in 'old town' Vallarta. Take a 'dip' in your own plunge pool or sun yourself on the veranda with cocktails or coffee amongst the lush tropical plantings. The warm winter temperature, tropical breezes and endless sunny days set the perfect conditions to enjoy the 'open living, bugfree enviorment ' our space affords. Natural circulation, aided with ample ceiling fans in every room afford total renewal and relaxation . Walking to everywhere is easy.Just 6 blocks from Los Muertos Beach, and just 2 blocks to some of Vallarta's finest restaurants, shopping and clubs ! Sleeping accomadations for 4 include: * a separate master bedroom,master bath suite, ( with air-conditioning ), including a kingsize bed and an xtra-large sunken tub /rain shower . * a second private bedroom with a double bed and adjecent bathroom /shower. Fully loaded kitchen, filtered water provided , maid service is provided before and after your stay, and an on site manager, complete the ease of your stay in Puerto Vallarta's most desired area .If you want to have maid service while you are here, we can easily arrange that.

Great Location! Walk to Playa Los Muertos. Walk to downtown Puerto Vallarta. Walk to Restaurant Row----and shopping and when you don't want to walk, taxis and public transportation are a great substitute.

the condo is more like a residence, not at all like a hotel room. i could live there. visit was at the end of october, so it was still hot, but the condo got more breezes than the beach and the master had airconditioning. for the most part, the ceiling fans were enough. location was convenient, in a residential area, not a tourist area, which is nice. you can just watch the people on the street below, it's entertaining. there is a full kitchen, and a couple of little markets across the street, so we made brunch before leaving. bert and ellie, the caretakers were very helpful, and since they are american ex patriots, spoke english. it's on a hill, which gives great views. the hill was steep, but we walked down and took a taxi back from wherever we were. only cost $3-4 USD. great restaurants close by. at night, they open a taco stand and a hamburger stand on the street.

Thankyou for the rental of your condo "Casa de Paz". It was a most pleasurable stay, and the PLUNGE POOL was quite nice on those balmy tropcial nights sipping a Malibu and watching the lightning.
The local neighborhood was quite pleasant and friendly with many great restaurants within walking distance and GREAT FOOD! We look forward to our next visit this Winter.

We had a wonderful one week stay at this spacious 2bd condo in the heart of Old Town Vallarta, I loved the open air kitchen overlooking the nice plunge pool, and our own bathroom with a big Shower. I enjoyed walking to the neighboring restaurants, that are only within a couple of blocks away,Also there is a Mercado municipal (Farmer's Market), only 2-3 blocks away , where I had some great authentic mexican food, and you can purchase local meats and vegetables, should you decide to cook. I spent a lot of time at Los Muertos Beach,( Blue Chairs) which was an easy 5-10 minute walk., I will definately stay here again. It made my trip to Vallarta very pleasurable, to have very nice accomodations.

I spent a delightful week at this spacious hillside condo #2B, and was not disappointed. I particularly loved the traditional Mexican neighborhood setting and the ease of walking down to "neuvo" Vallarta restaurants and shops. I am not a sun worshipper per se but could not resist trips to the beach, also within easy walking distance. However, the condo's private pool served me just fine for cooling off. Being naturally squeamish, I was amazed that there were no bugs at the site. (I have more bugs in my own home in San Francisco, CA!) I would definitely like to return -- but for a longer stay.
