Our home is the perfect vacation rental for enjoying all four seasons in Vermont. It is located on a short quiet private road in the town of Ira, Vermont, the house is situated on 5 acres bordered by stonewalls and sugar maple trees.

In this Central Vermont location, you can enjoy the views of Pico Peak and of the Green Mountains. Or sit and just relax to the sound of the brook which runs through the property and peaceful sounds of the countryside. You can sit by the fireplace after a day on the slopes. Then step onto the deck at night and take in the Milkyway and millions of stars.

Located in the Central Vermont Killington area, our house is in a central location convenient to all central Vermont ski resorts. Ski on the best Snowmaking in the NorthEast available at nearby Killington, Pico, or Okemo - you can ski at more than one resort on vacation.

It is a short drive of 13 miles to the Pico@Killington Ski Resort, 35 minutes to Okemo and Middlebury Ski Area and just 40 minutes to top of the access road at the Killington Peak Basin, Woodstock's Suicide Six, Manchester area Bromley and Stratton. We are 10 miles from the Rutland airport. And then after a day on the slopes, return home to escape the lines and traffic of the resort access roads, and relax to the peaceful mountain setting and breathe in the fresh mountain air.

This central location is perfect for day trips for fall foliage, skiing and a variety of outdoors sports. When you stay here you can access the best 4 season area resort facilities and enjoy the fresh mountain air of the Vermont countryside.

The house easily accommodates a party of six people maximum in three bedrooms. There is seating for all guests around the woodstove and television with DIRECTV and DVD/VCR. There are two bedrooms with a queen and full size beds in each and two twin beds in the third bedroom.

The house floor plan is perfect for dinners after activities with a dining area next to the family room. It is fully heated by an oil furnace. Guests will please provide linens and towels, however both can be made available only upon request. This is a non Smoking house.
