In the winter enjoy the ice rink on the lake for skating or hockey, go ice fishing at many nearby lakes or rent an ice hut on Georgian Bay, go snowmobiling, try some snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, horseback riding or sleigh rides, there are 2 downhill skiing or snow tubing locations minutes away or the Sports Centre and Wye Marsh Wildlife Center in Midland which are both great for the kids!
