Fort Lauderdale is the boating capital of the world! It is home to The Swimming Hall of Fame. There are beautiful beaches, some of the finest restaurants, the Galleria Mall, The Ft. Lauderdale Art Museum, and Las Olas Blvd's many shops and sidewalk cafe's. The Broward Performing Arts Center is located in downtown Ft Lauderdale. It's just a short drive to the upper Florida Keyes, the Everglades National Parks and Indian Reservations. The Hard Rock Cafe' and Casino about 20 minutes away. Take a day or evening cruise from Port Everglades. In about 3.5 hours you can be in Disney World, Universal Studios, or Busch Gardens. In 30 minutes you can be in Miami. It's a 2.5 hr drive to the Gulf coast. It's the perfect location if you want to see a lot of Florida while you are on vacation.

The property was very clean and nicely decorated. The owners Jim and Kathleen were most accomodating. We enjoyed our stay. Jim is planning on installing a pool here and that will make it perfect.
