Villa Puesta del Sol is a Mexican pacific contemporary style architecture; comfortable, spacious (400 m2), high ceilings, completely furnished vacation home rental located in Playa Blanca in beautiful south-western Mexico near Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo (15 min). It is built right on a beautiful 12.5 mile long beach of the Pacific ocean. Villa Puesta del Sol was designed to take advantage of its quiet and magnificent location. With its views of Playa Blanca -Larga Bay and the Sierra Madre mountains it provides a uniquely private, relaxing and comfortable alternative to the typical tourist destinations in Mexico.

It is located 5 minutes from the lxtapa/Zihuatanejo international airport and 15 minutes from the twin resorts of Zihuatanejo and Ixtapa.

Enjoy your relaxed holidays watching the waves from your terrace, swimming or hanging out at the bar and after beach relaxation area, or long afternoon walks at sunset on the white sand of the beach. Have a fresh seafood lunch in a nearby beach enramada (thatched roof beach restaurant) or enjoy preparing your own exotic meal in the open style kitchen.

The Villa has 3 bedrooms with air conditioning on the second floor. All bedrooms are equipped with a bathroom and a large dressing area and 2 have a king-size bed. The master bedroom has a big terrace with hammocks and a fantastic view of the ocean. The first floor consists of the living and dining rooms, kitchen, TV room and service areas. There is parking for two vehicles. The caretakers live on site and provide daily maid services.

Location
Villa Puesta del Sol is located on a 18-kilometer (12½ miles) long beach fronting the Pacific Ocean appropriately named Playa Blanca in the municipality of Zihuatanejo in the state of Guerrero Mexico. It is accessible by coastal road, Carretera Nacional 200, as well as 5 minute drive from the Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa international airport.

The beach is so long that about half of its southern end is known as Playa Blanca, the extreme north is called Playa Larga and at the extreme southern end there is a large lagoon and small fishing village called La Barra de Potosí where many palm-frond roofed restaurants, known as enramadas, serve a variety of fresh seafood daily. There are also boat and kayak tours of the lagoon available as well as horseback riding tours. If you would like to go fishing or diving, charters and tours are available in Zihuatanejo.

Zihuatanejo, once a small fishing village, is now a thriving community with many restaurants, shops, markets, hotels, and small guest lodgings as well as banks, hospitals, schools and other services found in most communities. Ixtapa, located about 7 kilometres (4¼ miles) from Zihuatanejo, is a modern government-planned resort community with generally more luxurious restaurants, discotheques, shops and boutiques as well as high-rise condominiums and hotels, 2 golf courses, and a marina.

Deposits

A 50% deposit is required to hold a reservation no less than 30 days prior to arrival.. Balance is due upon arrival.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT – A $300 damage deposit is required prior to occupancy. Fully refunded if no damages/losses occur. The renter is responsible for the proper use of the house installations as well as any damages.

Cancellation & Return Policy

CANCELLATIONS –Cancellation must be made within 30 days prior to arrival. 10% charge on any cancellation and the balance will be refunded.
Early departures can not be refunded.
50% charge with cancellations less than 30 days prior to arrival date.

All prices are in U.S. dollars and INCLUDE MAID SERVICES and tax.
