REQUIREMENTS FOR GETTING MARRIED IN JAMAICA
Your professional wedding planner prior to arrival in Jamaica initiates all paperwork. Any wedding that we organize in Jamaica is legally recognized by the United States, its' territories, the United Kingdom and Canada.
All documents must be scanned & emailed OR faxed to us at least thirty (30) days prior to the preferred wedding date. We can expedite if necessary with 7 days minimum.
You may FAX or EMAIL documents directly to our offices.
Weddings are performed EVERYDAY including weekends/sundays and public holidays..
Cruise Ship passengers can get married SAME DAY of arrival to port.
In Jamaica, we do not expect you to do a blood test like some countries, all we require are listed below..
REQUIREMENTS **Notarized or Original copies of birth certificate for both bride and groom.
**Proof of divorce (if applicable) - Notarized copy or original Certificate of Divorce.
**Notarized or Original copy of Death Certificate in the case of widow/widower.
**Notarized copy of Adoption documents reflecting name change (if applicable).
**Notarized translation of documents to English where originals are in another language.
**Photocopy of photo ID (Driver's License or Passport)
AFTER THE CEREMONY**Upon conclusion of the wedding ceremony, the marriage officer issues a copy of the Marriage Certificate to the bride and groom.
**Within six (6)weeks subsequent to the ceremony, two (2) certified copies of the Marriage Certificate will be mailed to you
**Express Service of 7 days is also available.

The wedding setting was absolutely perfect - on the beach with an arch covered with white sheers and beautiful tropical flowers. My daughter's bouquet was perfect and went well with the attendant ones I had made with artificial flowers.
The photographer and video photographer did a fantastic job and the photo memories overflow.
Thanks, we recommned Tropical Weddings to anyone wanting a Destination weddign in Jamaica.

Almarie at Tropical Weddings made all our wedding dreams come true! She kept in contact with us until our departure to Jamaica & met with us the evening we arrived.
Anytime we emailed her a question, she was very quick to respond and made us feel completely comfortable being so far away. Every detail was planned for us so all we had to do was show up
