We just spent a wonderful week at 702 Copano Bay vacation house. We were 3 families, including 6 adults, 2 teenagers and a 7 year old and we had plenty of room. REAL NICE 3 bedroom, 2 bath house 40 feet away from Copano Bay with wrap around covered patio deck, and pier to the water/sands of Copano Bay in Bayside, Texas. Bayside is 20 minutes from Refugio, 15 minutes from Portland and 25 minutes from the Harbor Bridge/Downtown Corpus Christi. Please pull up any map site(Yahoo Maps recommended) to checkout the actual location and surrounding area! Fully furnished 1600+square feet with lots of upgrades....totally reconditioned and newly furnished. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. ON the water! Fantistic fishing out your deck door, down to the pier and out into Copano Bay. The actual main occupier must be at least 21 years or older to rent the house. Absolutely NO hidden fees to rent. Have a nice day...and a great vacation!!

Refrigerator with ice maker, stove top, wall oven, full size washer and dryer, tv's (2....65 and 27 inch ), Direct TV service, internet service if you bring your own hot spot modem, pots, appliances, pans, dishes, towels, linens, etc, etc, one king-sized bed, queen-sized bed, 1 single bed, 1 fouton and one pull-out sleeper sofa bed. GREAT Copano Bay views......only 40 feet to the pier which leads to the sands of Copano Bay. Just need to bring your suntan lotion, fishing equipment, clothes and food! AND, should you want to hunt during the designated Texas hunting season....lots of game..doves, turkeys, pigs and deer 25 minutes away. Fantastic experience for all...whether you choose to go to the ranch to hunt, fish or just relax. Ranch experience will cost a bit more, but can be worked out prior to booking arrangements.

However, most of the water related activities can be accomplished on Copano Bay, and any hunting/wildlife viewing related activities can be coordinated via our Ranchito located 6 miles to the west of Refugio.......total time via vehicle is 25 minutes from Copano Bay.

We just spent a wonderful week at 702 Copano Bay vacation house. We were 3 families, including 6 adults, 2 teenagers and a 7 year old and we had plenty of room. We enjoyed fishing anytime right outside our door, lovely sunrises and sunsets, a large covered deck with plenty of breezes to make it enjoyable most of the day. We saw dolphins almost everyday, right outside and up close with a Mom and a baby splashing and playing. The minuses are that some of the appliances were getting pretty worn and several broke but the management person was very friendly and helpful. The description list on this page is not accurate. It lists 2 TVs and Internet access. There is only one working TV but it is huge and in the living room and even though there are only a few channels, we weren't that interested in TV anyway. One couple did need Internet access and we relied on the listing so it was a problem for us not to have it. Otherwise, a great vacation.

Our family had a great time at the Copano Bay house. We had 6 adults and two children and had more than enough space. The home was clean and comfortable. We loved the deck and the fishing from the pier. Didn't see any dolphins (see comment from other renter) but had a great time. Corpus Christi and Port Aransas are really close and we enjoyed going there during the day. I would definitely recommend this house to others. One note though--bring bug spray! The mosquitos were pretty bad while we were there. Didn't stop us from having a good time though :)

We had a great time at the Copano Bay house! The view from the deck was amazing and we watched dolphins from the public pier a few hundred yards from the house. Very friendly and quiet community. We loved that it was a short drive into Port Aransas or Corpus Christi to be a "tourist" but come back to Bayside in the evening to have a quiet dinner and relax on the deck. VERY kid friendly-- we had three preschoolers and an infant in addition to 5 adults-- the house still felt very spacious. Hot water on demand... which is a plus with so many people-- THANKS Dave and Joanna!
