THE EL FARO REAL II CONDO COMPLEX AT PUNTA MITAThe seven-story, El Faro Real complex, completed in September of ‘06, is right on the beach, and the terraces look directly down on the 80-ft long infinity pool and the beautiful blue tropical waters of Banderas Bay. During the winter, whales are a daily sight, and in the summer dorado can be seen cornering bait fish near the shore. The complex's southern exposure means there are unparalleled views of the sun from dawn to dusk, as well as the sailboats at anchor, and the picturesque four-mile distant Tres Marietas Island natural reserve. This three-bedroom 2,500 sq ft unit is on the 5th floor, including 75 linear feet of terrace, which sleeps eight. If you've ever stayed on the water in Waikiki, you'll be shocked at how much more spacious all the El Faro units are than the ‘broom closests' in Honolulu. ALL El FARO REAL UNITS ARE TRULY RIGHT ON THE BEACH! Unlike some so-called "oceanfront" units in Punta Mita and elsewhere, which are separated from the water by restaurants and the main road, at high tide the Cielo y Mar units are separated by nothing more than the unit's gorgeous infinity pool! No matter if you are looking from inside the units or out on the terrace, all you see is the pool, the sea, and the sky! No units are closer to the water than those at El Faro! The experienced American builder/developer of El Faro gave special care to the project because it's now his full time residence. The pool water, for example, is kept clean with an ozone filter rather than using chlorine chemicals, and despite the small size of the complex, it has its own water desalinization plant and back-up generator system.

ACTIVITIES

Nature Watching - In the winter months it's common to see whales breaching in the distance and even swimming to within a couple of hundred yards of the condos. Fish boils and seabirds are everywhere. In the calm months of summer, you can see dorado chase bait fish to the shore and corner them Swimming - The El Faro Pool, which features two long lap lanes, is , meaning no chlorine. The bay waters are fabulous, with temperatures usually in the 80s.

Beach walking - There are miles of uncrowded beaches and without annoying vendors.

Dining - Ten restaurants, from Italian to Mediterranean, within a five minute walk.

Surfing - There are more surf spots within one mile of El Faro than anywhere in Mexico, and they range in skill from absolute beginner to expert. There's even a break right in front of the complex ! Surf lessons can be arranged on the beach.

Fishing - Tuna to 300 pounds are caught within 15 miles.Fishing excursions can be arranged at the panga marina.

Sailing - Banderas Bay offers the best and most consistent sailing in Mexico.

Island Trips - Rays, big sharks, whales, they're all just four miles away at Isla Tres Marietas. The panga tour boats leave from the harbor just 200 yards from El Faro.

Side trips - Puerto Vallarta, Sayulita, Yelapa, Jungle Canopy.
