Relax in this beautiful new home with views of the Gulf of Mexico and Mobile Bay from the front deck and the back deck. It is approximately 600 feet to the sugary white beaches of Gulf Shores with a view of the lighthouse and gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Enjoy the sight of the cruise ships leaving weekly as they pass through Mobile Bay into the Gulf. Some days, the Blue Angels practice their flight shows up and down the beach.
The construction of the home was completed the first week of January 2007. It is a four bedroom, 3 bath home with a view of Mobile Bay and the Gulf of Mexico from both the front and the back decks. The home has two master bedrooms with a bathroom connected to each one. It is completely furnished with all appliances, pots & pans, silverware, new appliances, and linens. Please call for more details on the furnishings.
There is Dish Network connected to the living room and also in three of the four bedrooms. The fourth bedroom has a tv with local stations only. There is patio furniture on the back and the front decks. There is adequate parking for four cars and a boat. A charcoal grill is furnished for your convenience.
This Gulf Shores vacation house is located on a street with no outlet which ends at the beach. The beach is approximately 700 feet from the house. It is located in a quiet, family oriented neighborhood.
This home is located two miles from the westernmost tip of Fort Morgan. Fort Morgan is a historical site where fought during the Civil War. The ferry departs from Fort Morgan and arrives in Fort Gaines (Dauphin Island), daily.
The marina is located 1/2 mile from the home. A state owned public launch is located at the Fort, along with a wonderful fishing and crabbing pier.
Two restaurants are located within five miles of the home, yet the area is residential. The landscape is not busy with condominiums. Only one set can be seen in the far distance from the back deck.
The beach offers it own set of activities. This area is not over populated and you will never have problems getting your own little section of the beach. Surf fishing is very popular, along with shelling. A walk along the beach almost always proves popular as shells are easy to pick up. Keep your eyes open for dolphins, as they are a common site playing up and down the beach.
There are charter boats at the marina, along with a dolphin cruise. Bicycling, walking and jogging are also popular activities.
This home is located 20 miles down the peninsula. At the beginning of the peninsula is the heart of Gulf Shores with grocery stores and department stores including Target and Wal-mart. The Tanger Outlet Center is 30 minutes from the home. The hang-outs for the younger crowds are approximately 25 minutes away.

This rental home is perfect. New, clean, everything you need!! So much better than hotel vacationing. The pictures are accurate and the beach is awesome. Wonderful for families with small kids because it's not right ON the beach where they could possibly wander outside and to the ocean. I am telling you, this was the best vacation locale for us!! It was 2 grandparents, 3 adults, a teen and, 4 grandchildren. The back deck has no steps down, so thi kids could go out there without us worrying. The owner keeps everything in tip-top shape and there are little extras like a wagon to cart your stuff, outdoor storage, charcoal grill, outdoor shower with WARM water so you don't freeze while rinsing off the sand. I would go back!!!
