Royal Oak Vacation Suite is a 700 square foot, fully furnished and lovingly decorated suite on the ground floor of my home. There are no stairs. A fabulous hot tub is just outside your private entrance. You will find your accommodations in immaculately clean condition. The fully equipped kitchen contains a self cleaning oven, refrigerator & freezer, microwave and other appliances. There are plenty of dishes, pots, pans and cutlery. The bedroom has a queen size sleigh bed with a cozy down comforter, two dressers and a large closet.
The living room has a sofa which converts to a very comfortable double bed; TV, VCR/DVD combo and a CD player.
The bathroom has a tub with shower, and we supply towels, soap, shampoo and a hairdryer.
You have access to shared laundry facilities on the same floor.
All bedding, kitchen linens and dish soap are provided. The suite contains an iron and ironing board, lots of board games for rainy days, tourist information, maps and even a great selection of videos for you to borrow.

The yard is surrounded by a 15 foot hedge giving amazing privacy. It contains a lovely brick patio with Adirondack chairs and a market umbrella. The relaxing outdoor jacuzzi/spa is perfect after a busy day touring our beautiful city.
Off street parking is provided for one average size vehicle.
BONUS: The bedroom has a computer with 24/7 high speed internet and if you bring your laptop free wireless access is included! A telephone is provided in the suite and although it is shared with the owner we offer no charge long distance to Canada and the USA.

We are centrally located and access is easy from highway 17 (Patricia Bay Highway) en route from the airport, Vancouver or Washington State ferries.
World famous Butchart Gardens is within 20 minutes. The city centre, University of Victoria and Camosun College are less than 15 minutes away. Within a short drive are parks with lakes, beaches, hiking, shopping centres, golf, a public swimming pool, fitness centre and library.
A short walk leads to the local shopping centre which contains a supermarket, movie rentals, pharmacy, bank, liquor store, post office, gas station, restaurants and many more conveniences. Also in the immediate vicinity and within walking distance is the neighborhood pub.
The public bus stop is a 3-5 minute walk. The bus goes directly tot he city centre while passing a major shopping centre.
