One(1) separate cozy bedroom with a double -kingsized- bed (its bedding and linen). A walk-in wardrobe with ample room. A kitchen with fridge, microwave/combi-oven, dishwasher and all earthenware and utensils. A bathroom with toilet, fullsized bathtub plus shower and floorheating -fluffy towels are included.For your comfort, the flat has an individually controlled central heating system.
(2) A COMFORTABLE, PRIVATE BEDROOM FOR TWO ON GROUNDLEVEL
I opened a B&B or Bed&Bath, on the groundfloor of my house recently. With good access for handicapped. And its own private frontdoor. It consists of a comfortable and spacious room that sleeps two. See the last three pics: Lovely, Quiet, Private. With fridge, coffeemaker, kettle, toaster. Including free coffee & tea, A sumptuous variety of breakfast-items on request and at an additional sum. The room is equipped with TV/DVD, WiFi-internet, a doublebed with boxsprings, delightful matrasses and crisp bedding. There is a separate, private bathroom, with toilet and fullsized bathtub ! Fluffy towels and bathrobes are included. With central heating during chilly days, as a matter of course. Really: 'Sleeping in the lap of luxury'. With access to the lovely back garden on request. And unlimited access to the frontgarden to enjoy the sunset -if available.Of course, this room can be used as an annex to the apartment upstairs at a reduced rate.
THE AREA is not only quiet and safe, it has parking possibilities too and is easily accessible from the Amsterdam Ring (exit: S112) and major motorways, has good public transportation nearby: trainstations (Central Station 5 minutes by subway/ Amstel Station 1 minute by subway), subwaystation around the corner (Wibautstraat) and tram #3. It is just a short ride (or exhilarating walk) to the historic center of Amsterdam, its museums, the famous 'Concertgebouw', and the renowned daily open-air market Albert Cuyp in Amsterdams 'Quartier Latin'.

We just stayed in Theos B&B. The room was very comfortable and cosy, I loved the little breakfast table we had next to the window. We had our own very clean and tidy bathroom and enjoyed the breakfast that Theo served. The whole place had a very homely feel about it. The location was brilliant, literally a 5 minute walk from the metro station and perfect distance to the town centre (about 10 minutes cycle ride). Theo and Biance were very friendly and welcoming - thank you to Theo for showing us all the nice places to see and do - we had a wonderful trip and hope to be back next year (or sooner!)

If you doubt if this place might be the right choice- don´t do so any longer!! We enjoyed our stay there so much that we cancelled another holiday appartment and came back to stay at Theo´s place instead. It offers everything you could wish for in surroundings, public transportation links (5 minutes only to central station!), equippment and comfort. The appartment itself has a lovely loft-like feeling to it with a huge window front to the trees in the backyard- you´ll feel lalmost ike a squirrel sitting on the branches! Everything is immaculately clean but still very cosy and practible. We also enjoyed the selection of fine books and DVDs--but most of all: the silence and peace of the little sidestreet. Being situated just round the corner of the amstel, its the ideal place to take romantic evening walks and sitting in one of the nearby cafes and restaurants (Greek, Ethopian, Italian, Portugese,....). In addition, Theo and Biance have been the most thoughtful and welcoming hosts, giving us maps and insider tipps about upcoming events and interesting daytrips.
All in all- It´ s definitely worth the rent- you´ll see!

There is simply no better way to get a great taste of Amsterdam and a perfect experience of conveniant housing. The spot is perfectly situated in the middle of a historical, typically local and quiet street next to the Amstel river with jogging possibilities, lovely terraces (morning & evening ones!), bars and restaurants, walking distance to the city center, public transport and quick accesss by car from outside.
The apartment itself is a great proof of ingeneous inside architecture: kitchen, bathroom and sleeping area are not only well equiped and highly practical but helpful and suggestive by its inspiring arrangement. On top, the cultivated owners are open minded and "fine connaisseur" of their area, city and country.
