Perched high up on the ridge sits Rocking Porch, in the small community of Haw Creek. Beautiful and relaxing views from the quaint front porch and the master bedroom abound. You will find that Rocking Porch is located close to everything, yet still very peaceful and quiet! Downtown Asheville is just a couple miles away. The Biltmore House will take you about ten minutes to arrive at the gate. Black Mountain and Montreat are only about ten miles away. The quaint town of Weaverville is a short drive and easy to get to. Chimney Rock and Lake Lure are a beautiful 30 minute scenic drive. You will be only minutes from shopping and an overabundance of wonderful restaurants and dining establishments. Both the VA and Memorial Mission hospitals are only a few miles away. You'll find the Asheville area to be packed full of music, concerts, and festivals at just about any time of year. Bring your motorcycle, you won't find better roads than right here!! The entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway is only a couple of miles down the road. There's plenty of off street parking for your bikes and trailer.

This home is furnished with just about everything you may need! You can rock your cares away on the front porch while enjoying the sights and sounds of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. You will find cooking in the full service kitchen most enjoyable. There's also a gas BBQ grill on the back porch along with grilling implements. The living room is equipped with a 36-inch TV complete with the premium cable package as well as DVR/VCR and a CD/Stereo. If board games are your thing, you will find a nice collection of them here too. For those cool nights and romantic ambiance Rocking Porch also boasts a cozy fireplace. No need to hunt wood, this one is electric and does supply heat. There is a huge king bed in one bedroom and a queen in the other. Both bedrooms are large with brand new upscale mattresses, bedding, and furniture. The master bedroom has a small office set up for your use complete with a printer/scan/fax machine. You will also be able to stay in touch with the outside world via unlimited free long distance as well as free high speed Wi-Fi. Both bedrooms are also equipped with televisions.

I especially liked how you had the "welcoming" folder laid out, referred to it often. And the location is perfect everywhere we went was easy to get to because of the access to the highways. Only thing was we did not spend enough time in the area. Next time we will stay longer and probably come earlier in the summer, boy was it hot. We will definitely be back, the kids did not want to leave. I will recommend your place to friends. Look forward to staying at your place again. Bryce
