The hotel and its rooms are decorated with lively colors and Mexican details which create a very nice atmosphere. Pension San Juan is more than just a hotel, it will make you feel as though you’re at a friends home here in Mexico.

There’s no restaurant on the premises but we have a kitchen on the terrace of the third floor where you can have your morning coffee or if you like you can use the kitchen facilities to make your meals. Some of our quests prefer to go grocery shopping at one of the grocery stores which are very near, and prepare their own meals. The terrace closes at 22 hrs.

Playa Del Carmen is one of the most attractive destinations in the Mexican Caribbean. It is located only 68 km from Cancun in the heart of the Mayan Riviera. Its tropical climate averages 77º F, although it can reach temperatures of 95º F during the summer with sunny days throughout most of the year.

In Playa Del Carmen you can participate in a wide variety of sports, as well as visit ecological parks like Xcaret and Xel-Ha, archeological ruins such as Tulum and Chichen Itza, or simply rest on one of our beautiful beaches.

At nighttime we recommend a walk down 5th Avenue, which is the most famous meeting spot in Playa Del Carmen. Here you will find all types of restaurants, bars and clubs with a cosmopolitan atmosphere, as well as shopping mall with clothes stores, jewelry stores and exclusive boutiques.
