We had such a great time; the unit is very spacious and comfortable, nothing like having your own laundry. It is just a few steps to the beach, and that is where I spent most of my time. Within walking distance are a few, casual family-style restaurants, which was perfect for us. Clearwater and its fun nightlife was in one direction down Gulf Blvd, and the other direction took us to the touristy but fun John's Pass, Treasure Island, and St. Pete. I can't wait to go back! The only question I have is, the pool was not heated in 2003----I wonder if they ever put heat in? It was too cold for all of us except my 6 year old!
