An early 1900s colonial house restored keeping its character and flavour, set like a precious stone on top of the Santa Cecilia hill amidst vineyards and olive groves. Surrounded by the hilly countryside of the Adriatic coast with sandy beaches reachable with a 5 minute drive.
Lots of sun and light with cool shadow provided by the ancient olive trees. When the summer heat is too high, a dive in our swimming pool will regenerate you. All our rooms have a vast terrace with stunning panoramic views. The rooms are cosy and comfortable with independent entrance, private bathroom with wide shower, tv, air conditioning, wi-fi, fridge and secure parking. The rooms are cleaned at alternate days.
In the quoted price, a sumptuous breakfast is included, which is almost a brunch!. We use only local products, freshly baked bread and croissants from the local baker, homemade cakes made with our own eggs and fresh own grown fruit.
We produce our own extra virgin olive oil and we grow tomatoes and fruits with which we make delicious sauces and marmelades.
Marina and Francesco, the hosts, get quite busy to make you best appreciate your holiday with cheerful dinners followed by, if to your taste, some karaoke sessions and…. after a couple of glasses of Montepulciano wine…. some dancing too!
Rome can be easily reached for a day trip since we are 2km away from the entrance of the A14 motorway and the distance is 170km.
Pescara is only a short 12km drive away following the lovely coastal road through Francavilla. At night, it offers everything a beautiful seaside resort can offer like trendy bars, shops, night clubs.
Returning from a night out to our lovely haven will seem almost anachronistic.
The Abruzzo region offers heaps of places to visit, from the Coast of Trabocchi (typical wooden fishing structures) where you can also dine, to the Natural Reserve of the Sagittario Gorge, to the Stiffe Caves in the Aquilano and much more.
There are trekking routes on the Majella mountains, horse riding routes in the Saint Antonio Wood or sailing boat rides. From the nearby Termoli, a resort along the coast, many ferries will take you for a round day trip to the wonderful, wild and unspoiled Tremiti Islands where you will find stunning beaches and coves and restored villages to get the taste of ancient things.
