Gunka John's River Cabin is located on the banks of the famous Kenai River. The cabin is a stone's throw to private river bank fishing for salmon as well as rainbow and dolly varden. This all takes place away from the crowds and combat fishing. For your convenience, we provide a fish cleaning table and a freezer space to store your catch until time to leave.

For the non-fisherman or women, the Kenai Peninsula offers hiking, white water rafting, float trips, flight-seeing trips, halibut boat trips, clam digging. Only a short drive to the local visitor center, souvenir shopping and restaurants. Soldotna is 145 mile drive from Anchorage or a 30 minute commuter flight into Kenai, Alaska. Gunka John's River Cabin is only a short ride from Soldotna.
