Explore the island and discover its history, old plantations and ruins. Shop for island fruits and vegetables and hand-made straw hats and purses. Dine out or grill your catch-of-the-day caught from Reynold's charter boat after a day of deep sea fishing; or have his wife/chef Janice, prepare a true Bahamian feast right in the home for you. Complete with two bedrooms, 2 baths, sofa pullout, full kitchen and laundry facilities, this cozy, cottage-styled home can accommodate up to 6 guests comfortably. To assure your privacy, the closest house is almost ΒΌ mile away. Reynold and Janice are the caretakers of the homes on the Olivia d'Windrift estate. Janice, who is without question the finest chef on the island (very reasonable), will prepare a delicious Bahamian feast in your kitchen. Her husband Reynold operates a private fishing and diving charter operation (25 ft. Sea Wind) and has an intimate knowledge of the Cat Island marine environment. He never comes back empty-handed! What a wonderful way to conclude a memorable day, a family cook-out with your own catch of snapper, grouper, mahi-mahi, conch or lobster.
