Couldn't ask for a better location in Dana Point!! The view is amazing, the pool is nearby, and you've got nearby beach access; without having to cross the road like so many other condos in the other. The condo was well stocked and the owners were great to work with. Highly recommend and hope to go back! Read more
Enjoy sweeping panoramic ocean views from this luxury oceanfront condominium atop the Dana Point Headlands. Located in the renowned Gold Coast region of south Orange County, this unit overlooks Strands Beach - just one-quarter mile south of the famed Ritz Carlton Hotel and Salt Creek Beach Park, immediately north of the Dana Point Harbor.
This relaxing holiday rental is located on the second floor and is approximately 1000 square feet including a balcony.
This unit has been decorated in a Tropi-California theme, featuring fine photographs of the Dana Point area by Cliff Wassmann and other local artists.
We are on Dana Strand Rd off Selva, but note that as of June 2009 Mapquest, Google, and other mapping sites a re very out of date. See my photo page for the picture titled Strands View June 2009 to see what it looks like today. It is beautiful !

The living room features sliding doors that allow sit- down whitewater views of Strands Beach and beyond. Winter months bring whale watching and views of the snow-capped Big Bear Mountain in the distance. Furnishings include a sectional sofa, island-style wicker chairs, and a 30 Flat Screen HDTV with a DVD/CD player and receiver.
The master bedroom includes tropical beddings and a California king size bed. This room faces the southeast and features two large windows overlooking the undeveloped headlands and also allows an ocean view. The guest bedroom features twin beds, a ceiling fan and full closet.
Amenities include a full kitchen with a range/oven, dishwasher, microwave, blender, coffee maker and grinder, pots/pans, dishes, utensils and dinnerware.
The area below the unit's balcony is protected from the afternoon sea breezes by a glass partition, and features a heated pool with deck chairs and tables, chaise lounges, large market-style umbrellas and a gas barbecue.
We have everything you need for the beach: sand chairs, beach towels, umbrella, carts and coolers, and boogie boards and sand toys for the kids. The new beach access is three doors away so you don't have to worry about parking.

Nearby Attractions include Universal Studios Hollywood, Disneyland, Angels Stadium Baseball, Knotts Berry Farm, Aquarium of the Pacific, The Queen Mary Cruise Ship / Museum, LegoLand, Del Mar Thoroughbred Racing, SeaWorld San Diego, and San Diego Padres Baseball. Tijuana Mexico is just over an hour away, and if you're a winter visitor, skiing and snowboarding at Big Bear is only 2 hours away. Couldn't ask for a better location in Dana Point!! The view is amazing, the pool is nearby, and you've got nearby beach access; without having to cross the road like so many other condos in the other.
