A LITTLE ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND LOVELADIES COTTAGE
This Long Beach Island vacation home and the neighborhood around Holly lagoon were built in the early 1950's. The fishermen moved in, and then school teachers with summers off came from the cities on the mainland with their families. Generations of kids have grown up playing here, and lots of those kids and their kids still do.
House rents by the week or longer during summer season (can do long weekends off-season).

35 feet of dockside tie-up and storm mooring for boats. Lagoon great for swimming crabbing, and easy access to protected areas of the bay. Swim ladder on dock for swimming in lagoon, padding on lower dock perfect for launching kayaks in and out of lagoon. Dock, deck, and outdoor shower are on sunny back side of house on lagoon. Lots of trees for shade, privacy, and protection from the breeze. Lifeguarded beach is any easy one- block walk away, Quiet street, residential neighborhood.

Lifeguarded ocean beach down the block, plus protected lifeguarded bay beach around the corner. Great kayaking, clamming, crabbing, and bird watching in the shallows of the bay just beyond the lagoon. Foundation for the Arts and Sciences just a mile down the Boulevard. Movies, putt-putt and more places to rent toys further down the island.
