The original structure was a single-story octagonal log cabin built in the early 70s. Several stages of add-ons have resulted in a unique architectural flowing pattern of what one would call an absolute artistic creation! A wonderful Taos home and setting that evokes surprise and awe.

Walk in through the main entrance sun/mud room, then enter into the Great Room -- the original log cabin. A beautiful open floor plan of kitchen/dining area with fireplace, separated by a main stairway supported by a 30-inch cedar tree trunk is the main living/sitting area. A full bath on the first floor off the Great Room. Double glass frfench doors lead you out to a raised-story deck and redwood hot tub (great for stargazing!).

Proceed up the grand split tree staircase to the second story.

The Sunset bedroom has a king-size bed (or two - three singles) and private western deck to view astonishing Taos sunsets. The plaster walls are faux painted a sunset theme to create an unparalleled environment. The bathroom features an original, one-of-a kind, galvanized tin shower with twinkle lights and a meticulously tiled art floor. YES!

The East bedroom bewilders guests with delightful unexpected angles. Queen bed and a half bath across the hall, full bath downstairs.

Additional sleeping space is an open loft overlooking the Great Room with a double-size futon, single or king bed. French doors open to yet another sunroom/solarium. A very romantic Romeo and Juliet balcony is accessed from this upstairs solarium.

Finally, the favorite place for some to snuggle into, is an elevated loft for one (or two) : climb up a traditional South West latilla ladder and sleep by the stars.
